We faced nastier foes in the Nazis and communists. But we never were so scared to dump the freedoms that make the US so great to begin with. Aren't we 157,934 more times likely to die in a car accident than to be killed by al qaeda? Yet the cons are so scared they're willing to use the Bill of Rights for toilet paper. Where is the cowardice coming from?

Why are the politicians still allowed to continue their tyranny on this world. We are the people and we will continue to be the people, how can we allow this to continue. 1000 odd people have died in Lebanon in the last dispute. How many Americans have you lost? How many Israelis, Shih ads, Muslims. I own a block apartment, my tenants owe me the last 2 months rent, and I am not allowed to set foot in my own place to force them to pay me what belongs to me. Politicians are allowed to send bombs across nations. Let them fall on whoever. Oops we hit a child this week. From Canada, on the internet and through various US sources, claims are made That Bush is a little evasive on certain questions. As a boss I would tell them "hey you work for me, what do you mean you can't answer me" Since when is it the other way around? My yahoo friends, you know where we are heading, we all do, its time to get rid of the crocks and thieves that cannot answer a direct question.

I sent someone a package on August 8th. That person lives in Arizona and I live in Ohio. It was delivered on August 10. The person in Arizona refused the package and had it sent back to me.

Now, would I have received that package by now, nearly a month later? I think the person out in Arizona is lying and never actually refused the package.

What exactly are "boss politics"? I came across this term on an US History worksheet, and I need clarification on the meaning. The assignment was related to Upton Sinclair's "The Jungle", so I'm guessing it has to do with city government in the 1900's that maybe gave minimal freedom to the voters and gave all the power to the "bosses"?

Am i better of one the dole or at work? In the UK, those who seem to be on benefits such as income support ,seem to better of then those of us sweating our guts of at work. on benefits u can get about £28 000 (i know it depends on indv circumstances) and you have little other expenses. if i earn my own living i have to pay, TAX, mortgage (as opposed to living in council houses)own medical and NHS precription charges, plus i have to pay for travel and food expenses at work, and as a lodoner thats not cheap, on top of that i have to pay the usual such as bills and other fees such as car and tv licence and child care costs etc. someone with experience of both, tell me is the dole better of? i am not talking about single mums cos i know its difficult for them, but whole familes on benefits a wife and husband. i am struggling a great deal and the government doesn't ever consider my outgoings in order to make oncessions for me when it come to paying tax. so what are my options?.

Just about couple of months ago I saw on CNN that Bushe's approval rating has plummeted to the lowest ever and that the Republicans were expressing concerns about the upcoming, I think it's called, House Senate election that majority of the Republicans will be ousted by the Democates if the ratings don't improve. So I can't help to wonder if this is another one of his manipulations by lowering the oil prices. I've always blamed Bush and his buddies for the skyrocketed oil prices since he took over the second term.

Please help save Darfur! We can't bring back Iraqis that died in the 1980's, but we can save the millions that are at risk of dying in Darfur.

Has anyone seen "Hotel Rwanda"? I can't believe we are standing by and letting it happen all over again -- only this time the slaughter is in slow motion and could be easily stopped.

My son is 36 and has gout in several joints which makes it impossible for him to work during each episode. (His joints swell up and are extremely painful.)He has no health insurance since he just started working at a new job. This job requires him to do repetitive and physically demanding work as a furniture technician.

He has a learning disability but has some college education and no degree. He has tried so many different direction as far as employment but usually he finds he can't do the work for health reasons.

Does anyone know if he would qualify for disability or some program so that he could go back to college and get his degree.

The United States is an indrect democracy. We do not vote directly for the President but instead through electoral votes. What would be the advantages if each vote was counted separately instead of which ever party wins the state?

I really support it becoz, he has been lieing from day 1 he took office 5 yrs ago. he knew everything from 9/11and did nothing to prevent it. and also the mastermind behind invasions of Afgahnistan and Iraq. He did nothing but lost thousands on innocent peoples and soldiers lives.

I am wondering who wud teach this "good nothing moron" a lesson?

I really feel sorry for those people who supported senator John Kerry. i really liked him a lot.

Bush must be taught a lesson?
