I think the same about that quote from Voltaire as his quote "One hundred years from my day there will not be a Bible in the earth except one that is looked upon by an antiquarian curiosity seeker." The Bible is still the best selling book in the world.
Voltaire was a man tainted by his resentments and selfish elitist attitudes. Intelligence doesn't make a man right or good.
