As the Christian Science Monitor points out today, only Barak Obama has given any thought to Africa. Nobody else in the US Government cares.

I can't believe it either, but there are many that believe that the US should not be involved in other countries affairs even if it means standing around and watching genocide (or not genocide according to Annan) occur. The good news is the UN did agree to send peace keeping troops to Darfur just this week. (This was a US *Bush* sponsored resolution) The Sudan government has said, "no". I hope they go any way. Of course, the UN was there before the Rwanda massacre as well and just packed up and left. This needs to be in the news more!

What would you suggest going to war over there? If we did it would be just as bad and more prolonged than the war in Iraq which by the way is not beung fought because of people who died there in the 80's. For one this is just a continuation of the first gulf war that never ended. Then after we lost some amount of soldiers you would star protesting and complainig and crying for us to get out as soon as possible. How could we be respected if we pulled out of Iraq now the people ther for the most part do want us there and they also wish we had finished it the first time. So let the all powerful group of racists at the UN take care of Darfur. And when they find out it isn't so easy maybe they will listen to the US again but I doubt it they all hate us anyway.

the two the Dem's' and re pubs' can hardly agree on something even while they want the comparable element. except you bypass to c-span you will no longer see lots coverage of one/3 party applicants. super companies make extensive contributions to applicants they help, you're constrained in how lots you could donate to a candidate in my opinion. companies set up committees and communities to help and fund applicants. the latest financial ruin rules have been written by ability of the banking industry for congress to make into regulation and it bit them interior the butt. the different subject is that some human beings vote for a million party continuously, the two because of the fact they help that party continuously and have self assurance that's the only party to do whats top,or they're disillusioned with the different party for some reason. the two events like it their way and could compromise some to get their way. If what I study on the internet final nighttime is even 0.5 genuine, this election would possibly no longer remember besides. If we've yet another attack like 9/11 or a important disaster earlier the elections F.E.M.A . will take administration and George Bush will grow to be the genuine ability of government. If it occurs after the elections and earlier the recent president takes workplace,i do no longer understand what's going to take place. G.W. signed an government order for the continuity of government and F.E.M.A. will take over and droop the form and the President may be the team spirit government. Congress and the final court docket will nevertheless exist yet could have little or no voice, the President has the perfect say in all concerns. there became additionally yet another internet site speaking with regard to the formation of the North American Union (Canada,U.S. and Mexico forming a union like the E.U. and the U.S. shape would be long gone.

Last I checked there wasn't much oil in Sudan, Rwanda, Bosnia, or Cambodia. Wake up, if the United States' vital interest are not threatned the United States won't get involved, especially after what happened in Somolia.

Because we can do something about him, but to invade the middle of Africa? How smart is that? We would have to have a national commitment like WW2 and similar allies. That has been happening for years and years btw. I think the media has shied away from it because it is in Africa and it s black on black killing. Also, the bad guys there know full well that we aren't going to do anything about them, so they do as they please. HEY, here's a novel idea! How about African nations who are outraged by this create a big multiAfrican army and clean up their own backyard. America should no be arrogant and try to police the whole world.
That is a great way for America to be so over extended and bankrupt that OUR very existance would be in danger.

We never were! In fact we made sure that the UN did not find them of doing it as we were going to veto anything the UN attempted!!
He did what we wanted him to do! He attacked Iran for us just as the CIA arranged!! We arranged for the weapons and gave him the gas!
Even Bush's father didn't do anything either, than a decade later Bush decides he wants to pre-emptively attacks a nation against the law!
Bush never said a thing while we killed 1/2 MILLION Iraqi children under 5 from starvation due to our blockades, which were illegal as well!
Most countries think Bush is the biggest terrorist on the planet! I wouldn't even attempt to argue with them!

Good question but again the answer has to be directed at only one person and that is Bush.
If there is nothing worth stealing from a country what in hell would it matter to Bush at all?
He doesn't even care enough for the people in his own country to help them out so why would he care about helping out others who need help so badly too?
It isn't in his character to do good for any one other then himself and his vice in crime too.
My heart hurts for all those in need of help but without someone in office who has a true heart for all humanity then we are all lost.
Bush is a blood thirsty terrorist who is still in office and that I can't understand at all because the whole world knows this yet the politicians won't do a damnthing about it either so what does that same about every department of our shameless government anyway?
I vote to get that terrorist and his vice impeached now and not waste another minute or innocent life waiting.

Ever heard the saying " A bird in hand is worth two in the bush?" On top of that, Maybe we're tired of the hippies saying that we aren't the worlds police, maybe they have a point and we are tacitly acknowledginbg their point... then again maybe we just don't stand to make any money from the Sudanese. Who knows? Then again maybe our armed forces are more involved in a "War on Terror" than with some genocidal Africans
