In my state and county, our Police officers don't have a certain quota to meet for writing speeding tickets, although people tend to think that all of the time. Does your department have a required limit of written tickets, if so, how many and what do they have to be for?

President Bush visits a State School and after giving a speech about US national and foreign policies, he answers questions to students. A kid sitting in last row raises his hand and says:
“Hi my name is Jimmy, I would like to ask you three questions
1. Why did u cheated your way into the white house?
2. Why couldn’t you prevent September 11th terrorist attack?
3. Why are we at war with Iraq? “
When the president was about to answer, the school bell rang and the students began their break time.
After the break, Bush says “does anyone else have another question?

Now lets say I was in the car while it was hit and I miss work due to being injured and I win a sum of money for my lost wages, do I have to pay taxes on the amount awarded due to lost wages.
Now lets say my employeer breaches a contract and doesn't pay me my salery and I take him to court and win then do I have to pay income taxes on that money awarded to me, or does he give me my money like he would give a regualar paycheck?
Are their loop holes in the tax system? I think it would be awesome if thier were.

My psychologist attempted to capitalize on the very issues for which I was consulting him.

I was molested as a child by both a male and female and as a result, have had issues w/ sexuality, etc. I also had low self-esteem and was lacking the ability to be assertive, amongst other things. Long story short, he took my psych profile and used it to try to develop a sexual relationship w/ me. I explained to him that I had no interest in men and that the thoughts and feelings I was experiencing were merely a result of the molestation. I explained to him that I wanted to work through the issues. Instead he tried persuading me to go out and "try it" even after me telling him all this. This isn't the worst of it. He's tried to make me watch a gay porno w/ him, he's hinted at wanting to engage in mutual masterbation, has verbally told me that he finds me "sexy", ask for pictures of my genitals, etc. However I have no proof. It's his word vs. mine. Any and all advice is welcomed & appreciated

Donors met today to pledge money to the Palesinine state. All together, $7.4Billion were pledged for their 2008 fiscal year. Donors included, the US, France, Germany and the UK.

That is excellent.

But the question is will the money actually get to those who need it, or will it go to fund Hamas and Hizbolla Jihadist fighters?

Does anyone know what I can do? I have filed my divorce paperwork in Long Beach Superior Court. My attorney wanted us to go to trial because he said LB is notorious for losing paperwork. I have been calling them every week to see if the judge has signed the judgement. They couldn't find the papers and then apparently they did and the judge signed them and then it was supposed to be processed. Well apparently it never arrived to be processed and they have no idea where it is. The supervisor is not there and the woman in the department with my judge is not there either. Can't something be done about their inadequacy as employees? Can I file a complaint? Or anything? This has been EXTREMELY stressful and if it gets lost it will cost me more money.

While Saddam starved to death children, he spent billions of dollars on palaces that included gold faucets. And instead of using plumbing equipment to purify water, he made lakes and waterfalls for himself.

1996:
"It is estimated that 500,000 Iraqi children have died because of the non-compliance of the Iraqi Government with [United Nations] Security Council resolutions 706 (1991), 712 (1991) and 986 (1995) since the end of the Gulf War. "

4 months before the opening attack on Saddam (November 2002)
"Despite improvements there are still close to one million children under the age of five suffering from chronic malnutrition in Iraq today - that's nearly a quarter of all children of that age," said Mr. Carel de Rooy, the head of UNICEF in Iraq. "This is unacceptable. More still needs to be done to end the suffering of a generation of children."
