KEEP YOU UK citizenship, if you become a Chinese you will have problems even to travel, they need visas for many countries the UK don't.

I dont think China is stable just now, By that I do not mean that they are not doing well - they are! Its just that they have had a major overhaul in the past 10 years - how do you know they wont nationalize again? . . .
I would not surrender MY citizenship to become Chinese!

If you become Chinese, you still have dual citizenship under UK laws...you just don't under Chinese laws. One doesn't trump the other. You can maintain your British passport unless the Chinese government (which may, as it is Communist) confiscates it.

As a British Citizen you have an EU passport and the freedom to travel and live anywhere within Europe, it is also very easy to travel abroad and there are very few countries that will require you to get an entry visa.
As the holder of a Chinese passport you will have travel restrictions placed on you and will find it very difficult to travel internationally.
I would be very reluctant to sacrifice the EU passport.

So you want to become a communist? I didn't think so! Don't give up your UK citizenship. There may come a time when you will not only want to go home but may have to go home.
