My psychologist attempted to capitalize on the very issues for which I was consulting him.

I was molested as a child by both a male and female and as a result, have had issues w/ sexuality, etc. I also had low self-esteem and was lacking the ability to be assertive, amongst other things. Long story short, he took my psych profile and used it to try to develop a sexual relationship w/ me. I explained to him that I had no interest in men and that the thoughts and feelings I was experiencing were merely a result of the molestation. I explained to him that I wanted to work through the issues. Instead he tried persuading me to go out and "try it" even after me telling him all this. This isn't the worst of it. He's tried to make me watch a gay porno w/ him, he's hinted at wanting to engage in mutual masterbation, has verbally told me that he finds me "sexy", ask for pictures of my genitals, etc. However I have no proof. It's his word vs. mine. Any and all advice is welcomed & appreciated

First, get rid of him as a psyche doctor.

Second, report him to the medical board in your state.

Good luck!

Yes, if you live in a state where only one party needs to know about being recorded, you should either call or set up one more session with him.
This person is evil and needs to be stopped.
I hope you find a doctor with ethics very soon.

I think I would go back just to tape him without his knowledge. Medical malpractice is always hard to prove cause doctors stick together. If nothing else - a newspaper reporter might be interested.

A medical malpractice lawyer.

Don't be surprised if you have trouble retaining one, though - your case would be very hard to prove.

Change Drs, though, and file a complaint with the Medical Board.

A lawyer who handles professional malpractice cases can advise you on this. The rest of us citizens would appreciate your taking appropriate legal action against this charlatan.

Any attorney can handle this. It is a pretty straightforward law in California, and likely similar elsewhere.
