I completed everything that I can do. How much longer until I get my green card. I am trying to join the US ARMY is there a way for them to speed the process up?

I was a just-turned 18 senior. she was an almost 16 sophomore. we were dating. We "parked." I made out w/ her, felt her boobs, kissed them, and we did mutual masturbation. I'm trying to keep this clean ok?! Like I said, handjob and I used my hands to please her. Since she was 15 (16 in about 2 weeks) and I was 18, (just turned 18 a few days ago) should I have gone to jail for that? Now, I don't think it'll do much good. I still see her every once in a while. I also gave her an early christmas present. lemme give you a clue. it's comes in a tiny box, and she cried when I gave it to her. give up? I went and asked her to be my wife! this whole thing happened about 5 years ago. I'm 23 and she's 21. But should I have gone to jail for that nite? also, if she decided to tell on me, could I still get in trouble? I'm not worried about it, just more curious than anything.

For those that don't know: The United States is the world's largest emitter of greenhouse gases and the only major industrial country to have rejected the Kyoto protocol ("The objective of the Kyoto Protocol is to achieve "stabilization of greenhouse gas concentrations in the atmosphere at a level that would prevent dangerous anthropogenic interference with the climate system") http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kyoto_Protocol

There's a conference going on in Bali with 189 countries to work on negotiations for a new international climate change agreement.

Background on the conference:

I really would like to know what the rational is for not working with other countries. Why does it work for other countries to do this but not the US? Would it really hurt?

Please back up your answers with fact (cite references and links) and not rhetori

I want a career, most likely governmental law enforcement, where I can help others and beat the bad guys so to speak. I think there is a reason for everything that happens. I believe that sometimes, it's necessary to fight or kill. Not everything is black and white.

Lastly, I believe that war is the worst sin of mankind. Yet, sometimes it is inevitable.

Under bush and the patriot act, you have effectively lost nearly all the legal rights provided by the Constitution. If you speak out against your government you can be arrested and kept in prison till you die. No miranda rights, no due process, no trial by jury, no protection against torture.. nothing. Why don't people understand this?

I've got scum bag drug dealers in the neighborhood. It seems to take the police years to build a drug case around here. Short of running my own surveillance campaign (which is probably illegal) do you have any suggestions for a speedier way to send them packing?

A rich guy acting against his own self interest and instead acting in the interest of his country?

"Without the estate tax, you in effect will have an aristocracy of wealth, which means you pass down the ability to command the resources of the nation based on heredity rather than merit," Buffett told the New York Times in 2001. "[Repeal would be like] choosing the 2020 Olympic team by picking the eldest sons of the gold-medal winners in the 2000 Olympics."

Typically, fewer than 2 percent of deaths result in estates sizeable enough to be subject to the estate tax. In 2006, for example, less than 1 percent resulted in taxable estates.

It's estimated that the estate tax will raise roughly $355 billion over the next 10 years under current law, according to the Tax Policy Center.

My 13 year old granddaughter was raped, my son in law is one of these born again Christians, he refused to allow her to be given the plan B pill, she is now pregnant, my daughter wants her to have an abortion, she is already mentally scarred, and on an IV drip in hospital due to excessive vomiting the doctors have said in her case a termination is best, she is very small and will no doubt need a C-section, my SIL is refusing to allow it, does my daughter have any legal grounds to take him to court and force a termination, my granddaughter does not want to go through a pregnancy and her therapists say it would be detrimental to her mental health, as to her physical. She will miss time from school, be physically scarred if she has a C-section or have to under go intense pain of labor, he just can't see she has suffered enough!....They live in NY state.

If it's the government's job to provide healthcare, why not provide us the following as well:

A house
A car
Food
A job

Oh that's right the former Soviet Union tried that! How'd that work out?

Alright, I'm writing a book.
Part of the story is when my main character is going to go to jail. Whats something he could have done, that could get him put away for like, 2-3 maybe 4 years? I want it to be realistic so I want to use a crime that would actually give him that time sentence. Anyone?

If my wife and I make a combined salary in the low 100k range ... Does that make me middle class... or upper middle class?

I just want to know which way I need to vote this November and it seems as though how much you make has to dictate that ... {sarcasm intended}
