What of traditional values and customs? What of a sense of identity, history and personal pride. A well-fed but still empty populace are weak and always vaguely unhappy no matter how many large plasma tv's they have.

i thought faith meant not having to fear i do not know the answer , please help......as fear go's up so goes guns........it seems to become infinite , a compounding thing ......war, super power, ..Maybe faith is seeing the hopelessness and excepting and not to judge but try to set a example of love and peace, is this all we have? Have we moved back or are we moving ahead ? . I do think now, that our President, does have a hard job , i thnk i just found some respect for him , bless are troops and bless all the hard working people of america and the whole world.......Peace to all...May we forgive the past and live better today, Everyone. Let us not let elections create hate and bitterness in are heart and petty jealous behavior, and like the little girl in Africa said. " I have lost my parents, my family, my community , but i will smile and carry on , they would want me to, because i am alive on the planet and i will not be afraid, ...I WILL TRY " I hope only to have her faith.

No cuts in Carbon Emissions by America, Bush and His Cronies still refuse to admit there is a problem and refuse to do anything about global warming. Every Industrialized nation is committed in Bali. They are not worried about going poor, they see the business opportuniites and work creation of innovation of new energy saving services and products. So whats up with America. We know it has Oil Lust and will start wars to keep their Humvees and Giant Sized Trucks running.. is it too many fat people for normal cars, rednecks, Or maybe it is that America is the Biggest Arms dealer in the world, selling weapons to Dictators and Non Democratic Nations?, Is Innovation for War more important than Innovation for creating technology to save the planet ?

There is a statute in GA law that allows for third party testimony if they know from first hand experience or knowledge, meaning: if I know the victim and they told me that something happened, I can testify to that as I was told directly from the victim. But, let's say the victim tells my friend something and they come back and tell me, I cannot testify to that because I did not hear it firsthand from them.

Does this apply to police officers asking the judge to grant a warrant?

I'm asking because this is what happened to my husband. There was a police officer that asked someone who had talked to the "supposed victim" and they said that they told them something. The person shared this information with the police officer, but the police officer never heard it directly from the "supposed victim."

Was it legal for that police officer to sign a sworn affidavit attesting the fact that he knew from his own personal knowledge that a crime occurred, when he was never told this by the victim

"Without realizing it, we have begun to wage war on the Earth itself," Gore said in his acceptance speech. "Now, we and the Earth's climate are locked in a relationship familiar to war planners: 'Mutually assured destruction.'

This is so pathetically laughable, I don't even know where to begin. But here is a humourous guide for all you "would-be Earth destroyers":

How to destroy the Earth

Destroying the Earth is harder than you may have been led to believe.

The Earth is built to last. It is a 4,550,000,000-year-old, 5,973,600,000,000,000,000,000-tonne ball of iron. It has taken more devastating asteroid hits in its lifetime than you've had hot dinners, and lo, it still orbits merrily. So my first piece of advice to you, dear would-be Earth-destroyer, is: do NOT think this will be easy.

It seems like everyday you are hearing about a toy, some kind of pet food, or food, or other item that is making people or animals ill or worse. Isn't the government suppose to be protecting it's citizens? Even USA owned corporations are guilty because they are importing foreign items to use in the manufacture of their items.

Would you shop at a store that only sold items made here in the USA?

My husband got arrested back in '05. He was rearrested on additional and totally unrelated charges, and granted a bond. But, he wasn't immediately released because they had a bench warrant for "failure to appear." One thing about the warrant, the judge who supposedly issued it did not recall it, nor could they find it in any records. Second thing, he nor his attorney were never notified by mail or any other correspondence of any court dates. He was released on a pretrial bond, and his pretrial officer gave the testimony that he did not comply. The judge himself said that my husband did not violate any of the terms of his release. The pretrial officer stated that my husband never reported, but she was never there. How do I get his bond back, that was falsely revoked? And is it legal for another judge to revoke a bond that he did not grant?

Please give me some advice, I really need for my husband to be released.

I bought jewelries and had them shipped to USPS by tracking #. The tracking # said that it was delivered but I never received the package. I have contacted USPS by email and they asked informations about my package. One thing that confused me, why did they send it to an address that completely different with mine? Actually, I'm from Asian country. I came to USA about 3 months ago. And I don't speak English well, so I contacted them by email instead of by phone. I don't know how the law works here. Could someone tell me please what should I do? I've visited the address that appear on the Proof of Delivery that USPS gave me, just say it Mr. Rickhard who live there. And the resident said there's no Mr. Rickhard. I just don't know how I can get my package.
