I bought jewelries and had them shipped to USPS by tracking #. The tracking # said that it was delivered but I never received the package. I have contacted USPS by email and they asked informations about my package. One thing that confused me, why did they send it to an address that completely different with mine? Actually, I'm from Asian country. I came to USA about 3 months ago. And I don't speak English well, so I contacted them by email instead of by phone. I don't know how the law works here. Could someone tell me please what should I do? I've visited the address that appear on the Proof of Delivery that USPS gave me, just say it Mr. Rickhard who live there. And the resident said there's no Mr. Rickhard. I just don't know how I can get my package.

One reason to never have stuff shipped by usps that you care about - use fedex, ups, or dhl. Or at least insure the package.

Contact the sipper and see if they have policies that can assist you. You are probably never going to get satisfaction from USPS - they can't get the package back, and you have no insurance on the package to replace it.
