I think you mean "is there any sense in taking a WEALTHY and/or famous person to court?" I think that the examples you gave, ie. OJ and Bonds, have more to do with that than race.

About 10.4% of all black males in the United States between the ages of 25 and 29 were sentenced and in prison in 2004. So how did that happen?

Phil Spector, Mark McGuire, Robert Blake do these names ring a bell?

O.J. was found liable in the civil case. Is looking at conviction in Vegas.

Bonds. Is going to be tried for perjury.

You are no Johnny Cochran when it comes to playing the race card. Black has nothing to do with the defendants you site. The reason they seem to be immune to the law is because they are *rich*.

A young black man is seven times more likely to be incarcerated that a young white man.

That would depend upon what you wanted to take them to court for. If you have a valid reason to sue, oops I mean take them to court, their color is of no significance.

If you have a legal issue with a Black man (celebrity or otherwise), then take him to court. Don't bring your nonsense here.

are you being racist , you might offend some people here online , skin color or race shouldn't matter just cause a persons black doesn't mean there going to get away with a crime thats just a stereotype.

I'm pretty sure it has something to do with Money and fame... not so much skin color.
