Bush's numbers are skyrocketting since attacks in Iraq have stopped due to his surge.

I know liberals hate this good news from Iraq, but now at least we know that the GOP will retake the Congress and keep the White House. And soon we will have a fully functional Conservative Supreme Court! Yes!

what are his stand-out qualities? average student, business failure, poor president. most presidents had something in their past that made them stand out from the crowd. high intellegence, leadership skills, military honors, something, anything. if george had not been born into the bush family, you would have never heard of him. he does not have the talent to do it on his own merits

I just wanna know if there are any other people like me on Y!A, My parents are Indian and I've been in the U.S. since I was six years old. I plan to join the military and I get alot of shiitte from people in my community because somehow i'm betraying my people or some such nonsense. Any other soldiers out there whose of Middle Eastern descent or something that also have to deal with this? If so please tell me how you guys deal with that? Does it bother you that sometimes your family or community thinks of you as some sort of traitor? I mean I've always thought of myself as an American, but I guess a lot of the community think they're still in the motherland so to speak. I mean i was kinda proud to tell people I want to join the military, but I suddenly noticed alot of people look at me like i've gone insane or something. Anybody else dealing with this sort of BS?

Thanks in Advance

P.S. They haven't been able to convince me to not to enlist

Here's the deal. My ex (which I was never married to) is threatning to file my daughter on his taxes. He claimed her one year and I claimed her the other. Now, we are broken up. He and I have shared custody without a court order. He, however, wants to claim her on his taxes but I want to claim as well. I paid the majority of her childcare with checks and have all the reciepts. I also provide her with medical through the state of NJ. Who can legally claim her and actually win?

Once again the government has proved how inept it is at doing anything. The cost of living adjustment for people on social security was 2.3% but the increase in premimums for medicare was 3.2%. Instead of attacking the drug companies and insurance companies for ripping off everyone they ignore reality and push the burden on the people. WHY??

It appears that we have positive identification of the rifle used in the Omaha Mall shooting. The pictures from Fox 42: Omaha show an ordinary SKS rifle with a fixed 10 round magazine. The same rifle that millions of people in the United States own for hunting and plinking. It is an acceptable deer rifle for most of the country.

There have been many reports of "assault rifle" used in the MSM, and reports of 30 round magazines. It appears that all of these reports are false, probably intended to stir up anti-gun sentiment before the election.

What if the media wasn’t one of the largest contributors to the Democratic Party, do you think they would report the truth

"CWA, America's largest communications and media union

Most people have known for many moons now that the American military is winning a tremendous victory in Iraq. The media is finally and begrudgingly acknowledging the reality of victory. So far, however, the focus has been entirely on the defeat of Al Qaeda in Iraq (AQI). Yet this has been a two-front war, a war to terrorize and destabilize Iraq waged not just by AQI, but by Iran.

Now we learn that not only is terrorist violence vanishing in Sunni regions of AQI focus, but in Shia regions of Iranian focus. AP is reporting that Basra violence is down 90%. America's victory in Iraq means that both Al Qaeda and Iran have been defeated... simultaneously.

Now here's a question to consider: Was this George Bush’s goal all along?

My American Government teacher is from Iran and he explained all about Muslims and President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. He showed us his speech in New York and explained why they are so outraged. I think if more Americans were openminded and listen the world would be a better place. I may only be 16 but I think I am alot smarter than most adults.
