Why the Medicare rip off in favor of special interest groups.?

Once again the government has proved how inept it is at doing anything. The cost of living adjustment for people on social security was 2.3% but the increase in premimums for medicare was 3.2%. Instead of attacking the drug companies and insurance companies for ripping off everyone they ignore reality and push the burden on the people. WHY??

Because the poor and middle class pay for the rich and everything they stand for. Why should the elderly and disabled be any different because they aren't working?
