America's middle class is under siege and ready for a change. People are working harder and longer for less and less.

Corporate profits are up. CEO pay is up. Wages are lagging. Household debt is soaring. At the same time, health care, energy, and education costs are rising. Last year, more people went bankrupt in our country than graduated from college.

For six long years, it's like America's middle class and working families have been invisible to our president. He's looked right through them.

If you're a worker who can't organize for fair wages and safe working conditions, you're invisible. If you're a grandmother who has watched this administration try to privatize Social Security and dump piles of debt on your grandchildren, you're invisible. If you're a mother who can't afford child care, a kid who can't afford college, a family that can't afford to get by on the minimum wage, you're invisible.

When Hillary is in the White House, no American will be invisible to the president

Check this out. I have this friend who goes to Mexico and comes home with a trunk full. Yes, a TRUNK FULL of AK-47's. He's got maybe $1100.00 in the lot of them. They're practically new. He plans to sell them for $500 each. Now, the point is. It's ALREADY illegal to do this. Do you really think that banning guns in this country will keep them out of the hands of criminals? Kind of like how banning cocaine cleaned it right up huh?

Are you one of the people (like I was) who has been asking for a better Presidential candidate? Someone OTHER than the same old/same old?

I admit it - I have been "supporting" Senator Clinton really mostly because I had resigned myself to her being the Democratic nominee.

I was wrong to be so lazy. I have always liked Kucinich, but never gave him serious support because he was simply too idealistic.

Well? WHAT'S WRONG WITH THAT??

I now declare my total support for Dennis Kucinich, and passionately believe that we have time to work towards making him the Democratic candidate.

Do you know any particulars about him?

Personally I only support abortion in cases of rape or where the woman life is in danger. However in other cases I dont support it. Some women and men have told me its the woman body yet they all forget that it was because of a woman who took the risk and went through the labor is how they came to earth. Also that choice that the woman has of her body does not only affects her as getting a tattoo would or breast enlargement.

Seriously. Does anyone really believe that Baghdad is the last line of defense? Because the last time I checked, there was still a whole lot of air and water between here and there. And what if they did make it here? Are we a nation of pansies?
I'm no Rambo, but a 911 call from my house might sound like this:
911 emergency may I help you:
Uh, yeah theres a dead terrorist in my backyard.
OK sending emergency personnel. Are you injured?
Nope, just a little ringing in my ears.
Sir, did you see the man enter your yard?
Yeah, I heard my neighbors dog barking, so I peaked out back.
He walked into your yard?
No, he climbed the fence, and fell as he was coming over.
I see so was it the fall that killed him?
That is possible, and I'm no coroner, but its more likely the three 9mm rounds I put in his chest.

Conservatives always claim that liberals are cut & run. Try cut but don't run. Anyone else not wetting the bed at night over terrorists?

Not one of these taxes existed 100 years ago, and our nation was the most prosperous in the world. We had absolutely no national debt, had the largest middle class in the world, and Mom stayed home to raise the kids.

I've had an ephinony! The Mexican government wants us to treat its illegal emmigrants in this country better and will do nothing to stop the exodous. How about this. We release every one of the violent criminals in our prisons, with the stipulation that they sneak into Mexico, and not return to the US upon pain of death. How many do we have, a million or so? Maybe Mexico would get a clue!! What do you think?

What executive decision making skills do you think she brings to the table as she runs for the highest administrative postion in the United States? Can she really handle this job? Or is she just a double speak carpet bagger?

PORTLAND, Maine - Congressional candidate Dean Scontras called today for Governor Baldacci to terminate Maine's status as a sanctuary state for illegal aliens. Scontras said an executive order issued in 2004 has turned Maine into the nation's only sanctuary state, where people in the country illegally are entitled to the full range of welfare benefits, driver's licenses, and other privileges intended for lawful state residents.

"This misguided order by the governor is not in the best interest of Maine or our country," said Scontras, the leading Republican candidate for Maine's open 1st Congressional District seat. "At a time when Maine's economy is struggling, it is unconscionable that our highly taxed citizens should be expected to provide welfare and numerous other benefits for people who are in our country illegally."

The executive order in question, 13 FY 04/05, issued on April 9, 2004, is entitled "An Order Concerning Access to State Services by All Entitled Maine Residents". The order prohibits state workers from inquiring about the immigration status of anyone applying for services. Consequently, thousands of people of unknown origin have been issued Maine driver's licenses. No estimates exist for the number of illegal aliens who are collecting welfare, subsidized housing, food stamps, cash benefits and many other services that Maine provides. http://www.teamdean08.com/press_12.04.07.html
