Personally I only support abortion in cases of rape or where the woman life is in danger. However in other cases I dont support it. Some women and men have told me its the woman body yet they all forget that it was because of a woman who took the risk and went through the labor is how they came to earth. Also that choice that the woman has of her body does not only affects her as getting a tattoo would or breast enlargement.

I do not support it because of the double standard. If it is not a life then a criminal shouldn't be charged with murder for killing the fetus. Since it is a life at least in the criminal aspect then Abortion clinics should be prosecuted for murder. I think our politicians need to come right out and say either it is always a life or it is never a life. But, that will never happen.

I agree with you. Aborition is an evil thing except under certain circumstances. The only time I support it is A) Rape B) Incest C) The mother will die at some point during her pregnancy D) The baby is going to die during labor E) The mom and baby will die during the labor. Other than that, it's a horrible way to slither out of your irresponsibility. Did you know, depending on the abortion method, you can hear the baby crying as the doctor is killing it? Isn't that sad, sick, and twisted? And then once the baby is dead, the doctor throws it in the garbage bin in the ally. Like I said, it's a crappy way for people get out of being irresponsible.

Rarely do people support abortion. The issue generally isn't supporting abortion or not. The issue is whether or not a woman has the right to an abortion. I will always support a woman's right to choose, however personally I don't condone it. I also wouldn't judge or condemn a woman because of that choice.

I am against abortion enough to never have one myself if in a position where I could. However, I know history, and human nature. Decades ago, when all abortions were illegal, there were many abortions each year...given in backalleys, elevators, etc, by non-medical types. In most cases, the mother died along with the fetus. With legal abortions, the mother usually lives, because the abortions are peformed by doctors in clinics/hospitals with tools needed to take care of emergencies. So, if life is your concern, you should be for legal abortion, because with them fewer people die, because the mother usually lives. With abortions outlawed, the mother usually dies with the fetus, so there is greater loss of life when abortions are illegal. So legal abortions are a lesser of two evils. Government can not effectively legislate morality, and should not waste time, and money, trying to do so. God Almighty failed at that. NO ONE keeps all of God's commandments...so no one will obey the laws against abortion. When a woman wants an abortion, she will get one; no matter what the law says. In fact, she won't even need an abortion. She can induce a miscarriage...by eating enough hotdogs. The nitrites, and nitrates, in hot dogs will-if enough dogs are eaten-cause a miscarriage. If you want to outlaw abortion, you will have to also outlaw hot dogs...to prevent women from inducing miscarriages with them. You will never be able to outlaw hot dogs in this country, so why bother thinking about it? Abortion is a phony issue Republicans use to motivate emotional idiots...like gun control. When the Republicans had large majorities in both the House, and The Senate, and controlled The White House-under Reagan-they did NOT outlaw abortion, or end gun control. If they had done so, they would ot be able to manipulate idiots with these phony issues any longer. If the GOP had been as anti-abortion/anti-gun control as they talk, they WOULD have used their power to do something about these issues then...but they did nothing. That proves it is all a hoax. I will not be conned by such hoaxers. Abortions are bad, but will happen no matter what the law says. As such, the law makers should give up on this phony issue, and get on with something we can do something about....such as bringing the troops home from Iraq/Afghanistan, and impeaching Bush & Cheney.

Does any actually support abortion?

I am pro-choice. Meaning that I believe that women have the right to safe and legal abortions if they make that choice. However, I do not believe that abortion is a moral choice or, except in a very few cases, the right choice.

An abortion (in the rawest sense) is just a way for a soon-to-be mother and/or father to rid themselves of a consequence of sexual activity. Abortion not only kills a person, but it also lets America know that no one needs to be responsible for their actions. Abortion is wrong, unless the mother's life in in danger.
There is always adoption.

i personal feel that the rape and mothers health are the only reasons it should be available also, i know many girls in the 90's that used it as birth control,

i also find these celebrities that adopt outside of the US or the country they live in to be disgusting, yes they are trying to help, but so many kids here need help too, is it because they look better with a black baby or a Chinese baby, its all image, a look at me mentality
