Yeah. I mean, it was nioce for us to go out there to save countries but I think many people can agree it's time to bring out troops home. Now we are no longer fighting a war, but just shedding innocent blood.
We CAN stop a war. If we actually tried to bring peace and not go back on our word, we could make the world a better place.
I don't even think Iraq is a war anymore. I think it's just a reason to kill innocent people because people don't have anything better to do. It;s Horrible, and we need to put a stop to it.
And hey, I'm not saying it's like a peice of cake, dude. I'm talking about SERIOUS work to stop this. It's not like anyone can stop ALL the evils in the world, but if everyone just took a second out of the time to just think,
"Hey, you know, maybe if I don't do anything horrible to somone else, and if my firends did the same, maybe the world would be a better, safer place."
It all comes back to ya anyway. It's called Karma.
That's why I believe in Peace and Love. I don't care if it sounds hippie to you, its the right way to me.
I say, doing little things to make the world a better place, and not just wishing, can have a huge impact later. Like if people stopped bullying eachother, then maybe we would have less school shootings. Like if we stopped being so horrible to eachother, the wars would stop. people don't jkust come up with prejudice, hate, and death on their own. They LEARN it.

Why another one will start up then another one.
You cannot stop what man has been doing for thousands of years. War has been a part of mankind for centuries. Iraq is not even big compared to as wars go.
To stop war you have to stop the reasons for fighting. Selfish territorial claims, patriotism, greed for resources, prejudice, over ruling power.
Replace all those reasons with love instead and war would really end.
Now see why Jehovah's Witnesses do not join the wars of nations.

Yes, but we can't. Let me tell you first, I am absolutely against the war and would love for it to stop; however, it is extremely unrealistic.
The United States made a mess of things in Iraq and any pull-out before improvements would be futile. Sure, it would appease us Americans who can't bare to see our soldiers die for a cause we no longer support but if we pull out now we will be right back in there in a few short years. Believe me, if that were the case there would be a lot more deaths than there are now.
Without the pressure exerted by our forces, the war-machine in Iraq would grow ten-fold. So, as dismal as it is, I say stop the war but know that we can't.

I definitly agree with you! I mean why can't they just stop and talk to eachother telling them how they fell about the war. It's like everyone's sad because they don't want to be fighting they want to home with their families. And their families are sad because they don't know if their husband or wife are coming back. STOP THE WAR!!!

I urge every American to watch the documentary circulation the various pay channels. It is titled "Iraq For Sale: The War Profiteers". I don't care if you are Republican, Democrat, Independent, Black White, Spanish, German, whatever, doesn't matter which religion. Watch this program, you will not want to believe it. The underhanded actions by our government is unbelievable. The money that is flowing over this war is unbelievable. Our own soldiers are training foreigners to do their specialty jobs ( mechanics, radio repair, jet mechanic, whatever) so they can take over these jobs & then the military man is used as a foot soldier in the war. Please watch it! Please watch it!!!!

You cannot "just" stop war wont happen, we are always going to have wars and civil unrest and terrorists among all of us. Just because you "wish" or pray for world peace doesnt mean we are going to have it. As long as us humans have a lust for control and power we will always have war and not peace .Whether it be in Iraq or in your home or just a war within yourself war will always be with you everyday of your life.
