Herpes is more popular than this congress.

We need to fund the war. When Geraldo and Murtha BOTH say that the surge is working, it is AMAZING that most liberals still claim it isn't. Those two would love nothing more than to say it isn't working. It had to kill them to admit it.

Any liberal who still claims that it is not working is 100% playing politics....and dumb politics to boot.

Considering the fact that this war appears to be endless, regardless of the progress made, the fact that the Congress wants some kind of conditions for the funding should not be seen as anti war or against our best interests.

Remember, you, your children, and your grandchildren are likely to be paying for this debt. Should we just gleefully submit billions of dollars every six months without considering that fact? I think popularity should be a non issue. Somebody needs to be thinking about the long term consequences and use some judgment.

For those who want to hold Congress responsible for the funding, lets see you people who want this war call your congressman and ask for a sur tax to pay for it. Then I'll believe there is some reason to take your support for the war seriously.

To answer your question;

The democrats are in deep trouble. Their anti-war, anti-military stance will hurt them in 08.

Yeah - they're nitwits.

I want to smack them upside the head and scream "MORONS YOU WON, ACT LIKE IT."

It makes me want to gargle Draino.

But they're my ntiwits - what am I gonna do, bring back Frist and the gang? Not bloody likely.
