Just wondering when PJ's and SEALs recieive SERE training. I don't see it listed in their pipeline. Is it just incorporated into one of their schools? Thanks

I'm not sure when (in the pipeline), but I do know that the Seals (2) in our class had received their weapons and jump training... so I would GUESS they had been assigned to their TEAM.

PJ's (Pararescue) is an Air Force MOS, and back until at least 1994, the Navy and AF maintained separate SERE schools... though Congress was trying to merge them all into ONE.

I was an AW, and our student pipeline was: Basic, Aircrew, SAR Swimmer (if ya "volunteered"), A-School, and SERE... (Dear GOD I never want to to THAT again). Next was Basic Acoustics, and then on to your RAG Squadron and your WINGS.
