Who would agree that privatized health care does not work very well?

Between my employer and I, the HMO gets a ton of money every month. When push comes to shove, do you think Blue Cross Blue Shields will have my back? The answer is NO! They will look to cut their costs by refusing medical treatment, and will penny pinch me all the way to my grave.

HMOs= Greedy, Republican sponsored, detriment to America.

Is there other way of saying death penalty and crime?

I am writing an persuading paper and I constanly repeat the same word and the other

for death penalty I am using death punishment, sentence, I am not sure with castigation because I need to use familiar words for any type of audince

If a minor continually runs away from home & the police keeps on bringing them back home. Continued inside...?

Can the parents tell the police to send them to juvenile hall? This takes place in LA county in CA. If they can't take them to juvenile hall where else can the police take the minors if the parents don't want them at home because they are out of control.

Can someone explain this???

So I applied for a local police officer position... well I passed the initial oral interview, the medical screening, the agilty test and during the agility test we got fitted for uniforms. Well the last step was an interview with the Police Chief.. well it was about 10 minutes long, the Chief spoke about the benefits, rookie school, what he expects from us, and also 4-5 people out of about 14 won't make it. He said he would call me by Saturday and let me know if I get a job offer.. After the interview we were sent back across the street where we were "fitted" for uniforms again, and also guys were calling us new recruits..

However, if we don't officially have the job yet, why were we being fitted for uniforms? And making it all the way to the Chief's interview? Do I have a shot at this or no?
