If a minor keeps running away there is trouble at home and no one is asking the right questions. Call 1-800 4 a Child and report the situation and hopefully they can help - there is also Boys Town and Teen Challenge but it would be best for all if the whole family got help. Good Luck!

I consider the guy above me. incredibly than determining how you are able to punish her, they must get to the basis of the undertaking. an adolescent does not oftentimes merely run away for no reason in any respect. whether its some thing so uncomplicated as wanting interest, maximum circumstances may be corrected. i do no longer comprehend the marvelous rules of Florida with regard to runaways, yet lower back, i don't experience like that's the main important situation here. those human beings ought to get into kinfolk counseling and artwork out their subjects earlier merely sending this female away.

There are some childrens center for runaways and problem children...In san diego there is one called The Polisky center. The police know of these places, next time the kid is picked up they should tell the cops the situation or the parants should ask for such centers.

It's YOUR kid! It's up to YOU to deal with him. You don't just throw your hands up in the air and tell someone else to deal with him! Making your kids mind you is something that starts when they are very small! You need to find out what the problems are and fix them, not throw your kid out!

You can put your child in foster care. Before you do please think about the fact that this is a child and as out of control as they are this will affect them for the REST of their life.
Please consider you and your child going to counseling to find out the root cause of their behavior. As a former out of control teenager I can say with confidence that I remember and respect those who didn't give up on me. Thanks to those people I am well educated, and an excellent citizen.
Much luv,
A

I think the parents can call the cops on their own kid without having to wait for him to run away.
