No one on the face of the Earth should, or should not vote for someone based on gender, color, or religion. We should vote for someone because they will be good for America, Americans, and our culture. Anyone who votes otherwise is not an intelligent person and does not have the best interests of America in mind.

No, it isn't, not by a long shot.

Whether a woman or a man, elect someone with as much integrity and honesty as possible that is also EFFECTIVE (first) and EFFICIENT (second). In other words, if you choose the wrong priorities or wrong vision (lack of EFFECTIVENESS), then being EFFICIENT at those wrong things buys you nothing.

Finally, England from about 27 years ago is a great example of when to elect a woman. They elected Margaret Thatcher who was much better than a liberal and she improved the country is so many ways!

Electing Hillary would not improve the image of women (has Nancy Pelosi taught you nothing!). Hillary's obstacle to overcome is not that she's a woman but rather that she lacks the character and leadership skills to be an effective president. She has lied and manipulated her way to the top and people know it. She also has some pretty radical ideas.

Well, that's pretty sexist. Are you sure you didn't hop a time machine from 1867?

I don't think electing Hillary Clinton president will improve the image of "women." Yes, I'd like someone who's not white and male to be president someday, but I'd also like them to be qualified and charismatic. I'm sure she's qualified, but there's something about her that makes me very uneasy.

I defer to my wife's judgment in matters of female gender issues. Had Hillary dumped Slick Willie after the Monica affair, she would receive our support and our votes, but she didn't. She setback women's image to the 1930's. I abhor the mockery of govt Repub GW Bush has foisted upon our electorate, but Hillary is the only reason I would NOT vote Democratic in '08. "Making babies" has nothing to do with it. Putting another Clinton in the WhHouse would be as big a mistake as putting in the 2nd Bush. "Pillow talk" does not constitute presidential experience.

How in the world does Hillery have anything to do with improving the image of women?? I'm offended that you would think women need improvement on our image and offended that you think Hillery is an improvement over ANY woman.

Your vote should NEVER be based solely on a candidate's gender, race, religion, or anything that has nothing to do with their abilities to lead this country. The stakes are much too high to base your vote on such nonsense.
Make your decision based on their political stands and if you agree with those or not.

I'd vote for a female as long as she is qualified...Which Hillary isn't close to being qualified... She doesn't have the experience to lead this country.

Welcome to the real world.... look at countries like Chile, Argentina, Panama, India, etc etc... that have female leaders.

but i do not find her gender as a reason to justify her election.... she will go down in the coming weeks when issues make it in the picture and she stops playing it safe
