I was involved with a man while in the military. We were both young and I got pregnant. My daughter is now 14, she is asking questions about him, and I have been unable to find him. She is now 14. He was in the US Navy when we met. He was aware that we had a baby, and has not been in contact with me. Is there some way for me to locate him within the government? I have spent money on the internet with the name searches and it always comes up with his old address in FL and then the addresses he had while in the service.

please dont believe the media, they are regulated by the same people responsible for all the evil that is going on. 9/11 was carried out by our government. not some middle eastern group.

I now i recently asked a question like this but things have changed now.

I am a female consultant (3years experience). Recently another consultant left - meaning theres room for a new consultant.

Advertised they have the salary neg, but after i read an email from the MD to my boss, it states they'll pay £16-£19,000. (im currently on £15,500)

My title is Recruitment Consultant, and the position advertised is consultant. . . . the only difference is i dont drive - they knew this before i started.

They are about to take on a new male staff, do i have employment rights? He has no experience of recruitment yet he will start on a better salary....

surely this isnt fair?

Anytime he talks the crowd erupts. But the news never backs him and the papers ignore him. I watch the debates. No one targets questions at him and its kinda sad that he has such support but anyone offline has no clue who he is. the the Revolution when will the news start talking about him.

I was arrested the other night in Ohio for two misdemeaner and I have court tomorrow. I don't know what to expect and I am scared as hell of what's going to happen to me and how it will affect my future. I've always been a good kid all my life. I'm 20 years old college student with a clean record before all this happened. I am really dissappointed in myself and my poor decisions that night. Please answer any of these questions if you can.

I believe I was charged with an underage and buying alcohol underage. I am going to plead guilty to drinking underage but I did not buy alcohol that night. I was carrying my older brother's ID that night but I did not use it (because there was already alcohol present at the party I went to). What can I expect to happen to me? What kind of fines and penalties should I expect? How will this affect my future with jobs and such? Do you have any tips or advice for when I appear infront of the judge?

Also what exactly happens in court tomorrow?

I just saw "Lions For Lambs", the movie with Tom Cruise, Meryl Streep, and Robert Redford. I'm not sure if the movie is heavy-handed or not direct at all. To be honest, I didn't come away with any strong feelings after the movie.

Does the movie make a legitimate case for the war on terror, or is the Tom Cruise character just trying to dupe another reporter so he can get into the White House?

The reason I'm asking about this in the Politics section (rather than Entertainment) is that I don't want a critique about how well or badly the movie was made, but rather to understand the political message from the movie.

Was the movie supposed to be optimistic about prevailing in the war on terror? Is the Tom Cruise character really committed or is he on an ego trip? Why was the Meryl Streep character so suspicious about his motives?

What about the Robert Redford character? Why is he so interested in having his student join the fight?
