Ok minus all his socialist left wing insane views such as

strong state rights
pro gun
low taxes
anti illegal immigration
anti welfare and government entitlements
anti undecleared wars by congress
anti big government
stands strictly by the constitution
pro life

I mean this socialist moron voted to go after Bin Ladin for what he did on 9/11!

I've heard several people on here saying how illegal immigration is not the only problem we have with immigration but apparently legal immigration needs some fixing too.

Some folks say that our current wave of immigration, both legal and illegal, is at a level were we are receiving a bit too many immigrants at once who aren't really making an effort to assimilate (we already know the vast majority of illegals have no intention of assimilating in the first place) and that it's really beginning to burden us when it comes to accomodating them.

One major proposal is to restrict legal immigration by a variety of ways including limiting the number of visa's we give out each year, ending chain migration for sure, and other such means etc, for a period of time so we can assimilate the number of immigrants (again inluding legal) we have year before we accept another wave of immigration.

So what do you think? does legal immigration need more restriction as well? Yes? No? Why?

Thanks.

I have heard for many years liberals preaching cultural diversity if so great but the truth is that when you bring in diverse cultures they only hate you and want what you have worked hard for all your life. I believe that the hispanic movement at the Mexican border will only bring America grief and a total collapse.

Now that the elections are over and Kevin Rudd is the new Prime Minister, things are becoming clearer.

It seems now to me John Howard is not as popular as he had seemed. There seems to be a lot of opponents to him and his government. Many of his policies are not popular and many will be removed or refined in the coming months.

Yet, why is it John Howard was able to win the elections for the past 13 years?

Tell me honestly. Was he popular to you and did you ever like him?

Why do americans solely base their choices on whom the next president should be based on their prefrences on gay marriage or abortion, when these topics hardly play any part in the average persons life? Shouldn't americans focus on the more important issues at hand which play a part in every americans life, or at least a large portion of americans. i.e.: Iraq war, education, economy...??

I'm pro Ron Paul... just throwing it out there so people dont think this question is totally biased.
