Hell no we won't go, how many children must we kill before we make the waves stand still
Saigon Bride, Nina Buscheck, and Joan Baez
Protest song that was sung so often during the Vietnam War that LBJ was only able to fly on military bases, because everywhere he went he was shouted down with this song.
They chanted, Hell no we won't go, Hay Hay LBJ how many children did you kill today

"Rockin' in the free world"--Neil Young
Great tune!
My favorite though is "Rain on the scarecrow, blood on the plow"--John Mellencamp
Really good political tune!
Then of course there's always Bruce Springsteen's "Born in the U.S.A."!
Funny side note: Ronald Reagan wanted to use Bruce's tune for his campaign until someone explained to him it was a protest song!

"Imagine" by John Lennon is a great political song. Just imagine when there is no government and religion - there will be peace.
