Neo-cons on YA claim Bush is the greatest thing since Ginsu Knives, but for some reason, he is never mentioned at the GOP debates, yet Big Government/Deficit Reagan is.

GOP candidates want to win. Why would they align themselves with GWB? That just would not make sense. If he were popular in the polls they would drop his name continuously.

Probably because "Neocons" as you would describe them are not true conservatives and therefore are out of touch with the GOP.

As a conservative and a Republican I agree with George Bush on a number of issues but am not so blind as to simply follow him on all points. Never once have I referred to any politician as the greatest thing since anything....

I'm also not so ignorant as to simply disagree with everything he or any other politician says simply because of political party. As many liberal do with regard to anything George Bush has done.

Describing Reagan as "big government and big deficit" isn't historically accurate, but I guess you are entitled to an opinion. I only remember his name being used once during this latest debate and very seldome in previous debates. If you have trascripts that prove me wrong, I won't argue. I didn't really pay much attention to the name dropping.

Quoting Rush Limbaugh (or Mitt Romney or Newt Gingrich) and affirming Obama a failure is a a techniques sight from Obama actual BEING a failure. he's the main useful distant places coverage president we've had in a minimum of 50 years. (Ended 2 wars, killed off our intense profile enemies, supported useful democratic revolutions in 3 worldwide places, with the potential of a pair extra to return.) The financial device turn into in undesirable, undesirable shape through Republican regulations. And 9 months into Obama's presidency, this is rotated. we are speaking approximately 9 right this moment quarters of financial and interest enhance. the biggest enhance in the Dow Jones in history. (the two absolute and proportion phrases.) checklist company income. regrettably, the housing mess Republicans created continues to be going solid. And till foreclosures costs attain historic averages rather than the checklist ranges we've had, interest enhance will stay sluggish. (there is likewise the possibility that the ecu debt crises derails the whole component.) There are actual some disappointments. Obama ought to have vetoed the NDAA. He ought to have vetoed the Patriot Act renewal. He did not pass without postpone sufficient in final Guantanamo, and now Congress (I desire i might desire to blame it completely on Republicans, yet there are fascist Dems helping fascist Republicans in the attempt) has tied his palms. Guantanamo can't be closed now. harmless human beings (google Guantanamo Uighars) have been imprisoned there for 10 years without rates and no trial. it rather is a travesty, and we ought to continually be throwing fits over it. yet Obama is a much extra advantageous determination than the cheating applicants the Republicans are putting forward.

If things continue to improve in Iraq and the Democrats have to give up their fight to see Bush lose the war then the Rep. candidates will start name dropping.
