Iraq, taxes, war. Iraq, taxes, war. Oh, and immigration are always the focus of GOP debates. Am I wrong?

Have they addressed the health care crisis that is looming and booming? I may have missed it and I am willing to stand corrected.

Well spotted, the Republican and Democrat debates appear to only have questions that suit their core voters, In the republican debate there was little or no mention of education, Health care or American jobs, key issues that the public are concerned about. We have to assume that the non-republican public would not like what the Republican candidates propose to do in these key Areas.

Well it was a you tube debate and so the questions are going to be somewhat looney. But it is evidence of what is important to some republican voters. Why Guiliani would cheer for the Red Sox is of paramount importance to some. I guess in some way however it is telling of his flip-flop nature that a supposed Yankees fan pandering for votes in New England would root for the Red Sox in the world series.

Honestly, I have only been able to make myself sit through one of the R debates in its entirety. I just can't seem to do it... makes me feel nausea.

I have 'heard' what you are saying though from other ppl. Like I heard today on the news that during last night's CNN R debate, healthcare was never brought up.

Because they feel they are winning issues for their party. It rallies the base!!

Mention tax reform or constitutional law and most people will be quite or have a small opinion.

Now mention War,Taxes, Gays, Guns, and illegal aliens. That gets people passionate it easy to have an opinion about it. You can argue using feelings and I think Vs Logic and facts.

because g.o.p. panders on issues that they think appeal to right wing conservatives. g.o.p. does not care about living people, they just care about embryos and unborn babys. How can they give squat about immigration, thier household is staffed with illegals? I think you have brought up a good fair question and the only answer I can give in my opinion is, g.o.p. wants all the votes they can get, and these are the issues that will get them into the white house and into congres.

What health care crisis? They did talk about education and giving vouchers so that failing schools are not supported at the expense of the children. If you want a job overseas you can get a Visa.

They addressed those to exhaustion in the 1st few debates.

Needed some diverse topics to bring out "who" the candidate actually is.

CNN is worse than FOX. Why are the Liberals pretending that this isn't going on? Aren't they always accusing NEOCONS of fraud? What is this???

Because those questions make the Republicans heads hurt. I agree with your question, and I am so-o bored with my Republican Party and it's limitations.

I just asked a similar question. They steered clear of it all.
All these Republicans care about is embryos and cutting their taxes.
