Yes there is a good amount of bigotry going on in the US against Muslims, but i do believe that conflict on black versus white is still much strong in United States. From what I have been hearing on the news and articles beeing written, lately, i have come to believe that Americans will likely to elect a White Muslim to a higher office in the US government, rather than a Black Christian. What do you think (and please don't be a bigot and make childish comments...i am just asking a general question and would like to know what people think) and i apologize in advance if anyone is offended.

To hear some of the Dems/Liberals on here you would think that your lives have fallen apart while Bush has been President.

Yes the war is unpleasant (worse, obviously if you have a loved one affected) to hear about every day. But does it REALLY affect you? Yes, gas prices are high. But other than that the economy is doing great. Unemployment is at or near record lows.

So I'm not asking you to refute my specific points but rather the bigger picture. Are you really suffering? I just read a post that things are so bad under Bush that she was considering leaving the country! Just ridiculous.

I picked up a magazine from Kraft and it had this recipe for a layer cake which was made from a layer of ice cream sandwiches, you know the kind with the cookie and the ice cream filling, then a layer of instant pudding mixed with whipped topping, chocolate sauce and crushed oreo cookies, then another layer of ice cream sandwiches, then another layer of instant pudding mixed with whipped topping, chocolate sauce and crushed oreos, then another layer of ice cream sandwiches, then you put whipped topping on the sides and top and wrap it in tinfoil and put it in the freezer until 1/2 hour before you want to serve it, you take it out. Anyway, the question is, after finishing this article in the waiting room of the cardiologist's office I went into immediate cardiac arrest. Who can I sue?

My opinion is that both parties are very keen to establish peace and even has been agreed for the creation of a Palestinian State for the Palestinian people. The problem is that there are some countries who does not want this to happen as they like this issue to be prolonged in their interest so that this issue can be used as an exuse for their benefit. It is sad to see the Palestinians suffer on their expense. I don't understand why some people enjoy doing this and never reailise that if this happen to them how would they feel.

yes 2 million votes were not counted in the 2004 election but nothing amiss happened and there was no fraud
yes over 200,000 GI's were on disability before the 2nd invasion of Iraq - but that had nothing to do with depleted uranium it was likely the chemical warfare that we didn't find in Iraq used against us
yes we thought Osama was responsible for 9/11 and then we found out it was Sadam and then that was wrong too but we needed to take out Sadam anyway so really that doesn't matter either -
yes we are against torture but waterboarding just makes people believe they are going to die it isn't torture - so shut up we are protecting your butt
yes we abducted people from their homeland but we had too courts and do process of law take too long
yes we passed several bills that allow spying on our own people but don't worry we won't abuse that No not us
And even though we were wrong about Bin Laden and Sadam being responsible for 9/11 we are begining to think maybe it's Iran

Shows how petty the Muslim governments are doesn't it? Nothing better to do than arrest a teacher of a Christian school where the teddy bear was named, presumably by the children, Mohammed, seems to me that these people don't want any help with anything let alone education. Mind you it was probably a girls school and girls are not allowed an education in Muslim countries.

It just makes no sense what the anti-global warming crowd says. If the ship sank from hitting an iceberg, how can this be, since libs make it very clear that the ice is melting so fast. Even if it was true, we could definitely benefit from this anyway because we wouldn't really have this problem any more.

Here is what I mean by efficiency. Todays society favors efficiency and rationalism over compassion and wisdom. Those who say that it comes down to either using a gun or a taser completely miss the point. Where is the middle ground in the issue? Have we come to the point where we think of things in such extremes?
It seems to me that we have lost something of our own humanity in this debate. We all know that we shouldnt be cruel to others but at the same time we favor using cruelty. Come on people...........50, 000 volts....

"My Conservatives are better than your Liberals!" And vice versa. This is really getting out of hand. I'm a Conservative but I do listen to all points of view. This is just absolutely wrong.

This is the main reason why nothing gets done in Washington because of people, like the majority on Yahoo Anwers, keep bickering back and forth of who is better; a Conservative or a Liberal, a Republican or a Democrat.

People have to stop thinking of government as a sport. We have to pick sides all the time and we have to hate each other because that person is a Conservative or that person is a Liberal. Yeesh!

It really gets irritating. Partisanship in politics is destroying the country because nothing gets done. Partisanship ruining the average citizen from learning different aspects on a country.
