Yes there is a good amount of bigotry going on in the US against Muslims, but i do believe that conflict on black versus white is still much strong in United States. From what I have been hearing on the news and articles beeing written, lately, i have come to believe that Americans will likely to elect a White Muslim to a higher office in the US government, rather than a Black Christian. What do you think (and please don't be a bigot and make childish comments...i am just asking a general question and would like to know what people think) and i apologize in advance if anyone is offended.

White Muslims. Where? I've never heard of one. You may be right. The south is a very racist place.

Firstly, we have to separate our apples from our oranges. While there certainly is racism among individual people in America (and pretty much everywhere else) institutionalized racism has been eliminated and plenty of legal recourse provided for anyone who finds any residual racism in any institutionalized methodology.

I do not think it is a bad as it may appear. Many people today are pretty accepting of people of other races as equals. Each successive generation seems even less inclined to draw distinctions bases solely on race. That is a good thing and should be celebrated.

However, you do not sell newspapers reporting successfully completed airline flights but rather by reporting spectacular crashes. Many people still perceive racism due to the over reporting of such incidents.

Try this experiment yourself. Ask members of any minority group you wish if they have personally been discriminated against and relate specific examples. Most have not been but believe that others in their group are. In reality and happily, most minority groups are not being discriminated against but sadly they still think they are.

In fact most white Americans are not bigots. True, the loudest and most obnoxious groups are, such as so called "White Supremacists". Does it not strike you as odd that these people often are hardly good examples of people at all let alone supreme in any way? One would often be hard pressed to find a single complete set of teeth among the entire group.

Whites believe that we Caucasians represent the pinnacle of human evolution. A reader emailed me to ask what proof I had that we do not represent the pinnacle of human evolution. The answer is intuitively obvious to the casual observer. Highly evolved human beings registering at the top of humanity's scale would have willingly forged a sociopolitical system based on peace, economic justice, social justice, and universal human rights long ago.

I rest my case.

Now let's get to work on repaying our seriously past due balance.

I believe that we will see black man as president before a white female. Personally, I don't care about race or gender, I just don't want a dipsh#t in office.

If I had a choice I would choose a black Christian.

While I think you are wrong, it will be beyond my life time before we would ever know. I don't see that as our only two choices ever happening.
