I was pretty bitter when I read about all the attention given to Cheney's heartbeat irregularity. I have neighbors who are bankrupt because they needed far more attention than he needs.
I also have a neighbor who refused medical attention when she was forced into a ditch by a tractor.
She had severe lacerations that infected. She will be left with hideous scars as a result.
Why?
She comes from a family of hard-working rural people with no insurance.
