First off, I am tired of having the US dollar devalued. At the current rate of devaluation, we may have to use it as toilet paper soon. George W Bush's administration alledgedly supports a strong dollar policy but all of our actions have pointed in the opposite direction. I know, a weaker dollar will help narrow the budget deficit and the trade deficit but that cannot be our only solution in our economic arsenal. Which candidate supports a stronger dollar?

Indiana allows us to apply for a ccw license at the age of 18 - but I heard you can't actually purchase a hand gun until the age of 21????

If thats the case, do you have to have a license in order to purchase a hand gun? or do they just do a background check before u purchase it?

I'm not an American thus I can never cast any vote for anyone but as an ordinary citizen of a 3rd would country I know that the next president of U.S. of A would surely have an ambiguous power over our country. I just want to know more about the candidate that the American net society would like to vote.

I'm sick of hearing the Federal Government blamed for State issues. All the GST raised goes to the State Governments and all of the State Governments are better off now, due to the GST than under the previous fund allocation scheme. Recently, several of the State Governments highlighted budget surpluses. Did anyone else notice that these surpluses were very close to the GST amounts that these States received. Qld's definately was! The GST was meant to be used on Hospitals, Schools and Roads, with extra funding available on application to the Federal Government. Instead, we find that Schools and Hospitals, in particular, have received less State funding and, in the case of Qld, sporting arenas have been built instead. Suncorp Stadium is one that comes to mind. Qld also put the Ambulance Service into financial stress, removing Ambulance Subscriptions and attaching a "Levy" to power bills, after which they reduced the amount allocated to the Ambulance Service. That's Labor at work!

One Laptop per person? How can we open the net access of Africa?

What's about this proposal?

"The XO-1, previously known as the $100 Laptop or Children's Machine, is an inexpensive laptop computer intended to be distributed to children around the world,
especially to those in developing countries, to provide them with access to knowledge. The laptop is developed by the One Laptop per Child (OLPC) social welfare organization. Do you believe our children and their attitudes and been negatively affected by the use of corporal punishment, the inability to pray in school and teachers telling them that if their parent strikes them for punishment to tell them and children's services will be notified?

I'm old school and my kids got spankings when they did something dangerous. (Not beatings) I feel that kids today feel there are no real consequences for bad behavior. So, they (not all) do what they want, have a time out, have a prized possession taken for a while or do extra chores only to do it again or something worse. I've never understood why I could get in trouble for a swat on the rear but the school felt it was fine to strike my child with a board. Could this be part of why some parents are afraid of their kids or even why kids are abusing or even killing their parents?

My argument is that privacy is more important than the freedom of press... I need to come up with things that support this.... it could be on the lines of why privacy is important... I need 3 things or somthing that the privacy would be invaded if the press did - - and - three things. If u have any other approach please tell me. here is what I have so far :

The right to produce news without any government interference cannot override a person’s right to privacy. The press is there to spread information to people which helps them analyze society and government; information that helps people to grow intellectually. The press is not there to expose the private lives of individuals in the name of news worthiness.

Pleaseeeeeeee I need some suggestions!!!! My brain has turned into cheeze! Please help me!
