what if someone got pregnant and they were under 16 ( michigan law says you have to be 16 to do stuff llegally) and your boyfriend was 18, what would happen.

But when the baby was born you would be 16.

Do doctors have to press charges or get the law involved?
What if he never came to anything and was only in the delievery room?
Do you have the right not to tell?

What could all happen in this case?
Can parents have a say in it?

Only serious answers please. Thank you

Why is it that the extreme anti-Bush camp (and even the casual anti-Bush camp) always make fun of the president, and go to great lengths to point out how dumb he is. Yet, when the issue of 9-11 or the Iraq War comes around all the sudden Bush is one of the greatest criminal masterminds in history. So, which is it ...? Is Bush stupid or is he a genius ...? Because you can't have both (and I think the vast majority of the American population can agree on which of the two he is ... all you have to do is listen to him talk for 30 seconds) ...

My band and I (from around Toronto, Ontario) signed a contract to a record label when we were all under 18. The record company owner was aware of this. Now, 8 months before the contract ends, we want to drop the label. When we signed it, we were under the impression that we couldn't be legally binded by a contract. Now, ONE of the members, turned 18. Are we now legally binded by the contract, or no?
Basically, since ONE member is now 18, can we drop the label we're signed to and not be legally binded? Or since we were all under age when we signed the contract, did it immediately become null or void?
I know very, very little about this sort of legal stuff, so any input would be much appreciated.
Thanks

My ex moved to Michigan with my son several years ago. Previously I have had no problems with getting my time with him, but now she is refusing to let us see him. She keeps saying that it is no convenient for her or they have plans. We live in Oklahoma and the child support is set up here but we were not married so no divorce. I contacted 2 lawyers here and one says we need to do the visitation case there since he is a legal resident of that state and one says here since the child support is set up here, but I contacted a Michigan lawyer that also said that it would be here in Oklahoma. So where would I get a lawyer to file for visitation for my son that lives in Michigan?

I find this ad selling a 1998 rav4 with only 73,000 miles for only $2,300. She says she's in the army and is being deployed to iraq and needs to sell within two days and thats why the price is so low. I email her telling her I'm very interested and she emails me back telling me she just sold it and that there is this great website I should check out to find good deals on cars. She even gives me a username and password.... which doesn't work. The site is supposedly done by a us army vet. who wants to help people out by sharing some links he's found useful. There were 3 links...one for car auctions, second for a site that pays for online surveys, the 3rd was how to make money driving around. These were supposedly all seperate sites. Each site required you to pay a member fee but what caught my attention was all the payment forms were exactly the same for each site.
Does this sound familiar to anyone else out there? Do you think its a scam?

I would like an answer to this troubling question. If I brake a federal law, do I have to pay the consequences for doing so?

Be aware that after I get answers to this question I will then update to what law I am pertaining too. Okay? Lets try it. Thanks

Utah's election day was today. One big issue being voted on was the School Vouchers, or Referendum 1. Did you vote for Referendum 1, or against it? Why did you vote that way? Even if you're not in Utah, do some research (if you want) and tell me whether you would vote for Referendum 1 or not. I voted against it :)

I'm writing to my uncle in prison and just wondering how long it takes for him to receive a letter from me. He lives in the next state for me. Do they have to open all the letters and read them all the time..is that why it takes a while??
