If so, what has been your experience there? Do you like it? I am thinking about putting in orders for Hill airforce base.

i live 5 miles away from hafb, it's a nice family oriented area

As a matter of fact, Bubba, that's not exactly true. We used to ask each other what the first thing is we'd do when any of us finally PCSed out of that hellhole. The standard answer was we'd break off our rear-view mirror going out the gate so we'd never have to see it again.

Go for it, it can't be worse than any other Air force base.

The best place you are going is the next duty station, until you get there.
