Why is that do you think? OK i admit i am a smoker, but it's no coincidence that since the smoking ban came into effect in England on 1 July, their has been a decline in the pub industry.
It is now nearly Christmas not even 6 months down the road and their seems to be an abundance of pubs up for sale, to let or just borded up. and its not just pubs, bingo halls, bookies, indoor amusments have all seen a drop in trade and i would guess other businesses would be suffering too.

By the way i don't drink acohol, i dont go to the pub so why am i so bothered? because if i went to my local, unfortunatly i cant get in as it has closed down due to lack of custom.
Having spoken to a few ex landlords, they all seem to blame the same thing, The Smoking Ban.

So has anyone noticed the amount of Pubs that have closed or that are up to let?
Is it just coincidence?
Tell me your opinion?
Especially if you are a current or ex landlord.

Do you think that the intelligence aquired by its use is truthful or accurate? DO you think that is is morally justified to become as savage as the enemy in attempting to beat that enemy?

Since I see on allot of forums that people think that questioning the morality of torture makes us look weak. But I ask you how strong do you have to be to beat a person silly, and make them think that they are drowning, when you have them locked away and out manned?

http://video4people.blogspot.com is a video of a phone message from a mother to a daughter and you see the daughter's reaction and the video goes on quite painfully but it's a mixed bag as to what the ramifications of posting this are if there is no money or libel involved, just to show people there are worse phone messages than Dog Chapman and Alec Baldwin!

The military in the US has traditionally been socialized. Do you feel this is better then a privatized system, or that making a privatized army is better?

Like right now, the US has thousands of mercenaries who they have hired in Iraq (Blackwater) which is a direction in privatizing.

I didn't do well in school and all my friends tell me I'm not very bright but everybody seems to like me (i'm not very confrontational, I have a way of telling people what they want to hear.) I don't really have any special skills or talents. I do have alot of ambition and I want to make lots of money.

Should I go into politics?

You saw the question. Don't say stupid thinks like: 'IDK' and 'YES! I go to one!'. That doesn't really help me at all. It's a simple 'yes' or 'no' question.

Why have they not done the one thing they were suppose to do . Going from electing republicans to democrats is just not getting the job done anymore .
Politicians have taken to outright deception and fraud as far as I am concerned .
Why when we elected the democrats have they not pushed the war issue much harder and gotten some results .

DO you feel as cheated and abused as I do .

He is the only one who had the courage to introduce legislation to impeach Dick Cheney.

I love that type of courage, I just wished the rest of the Congress had the courage to follow through with the impeachment.

Citizens who wish to make a general donation to the U.S. government may send contributions to a specific account called "Gifts to the United States." This account was established in 1843 to accept gifts, such as bequests, from individuals wishing to express their patriotism to the United States. Money deposited into this account is for general use by the federal government and can be available for budget needs. These contributions are considered an unconditional gift to the government. Financial gifts can be made by check or money order payable to the United States Treasury and mailed to the address below.

He also avoids the death tax by giving his money away by giving it to charity when he dies. Yup, he sure thinks the Treasury deserves more money alright.

I wonder who now can keep on saying that they and can keep on saying that they can keep interest rate low now.

John Howard cannot even do that, so he has lied to keep interest rates at record lows, but now it has been 6 rises since 2004, how many more are there on the way up from now on. its the 10th rise since 2002 and has not gone down but up.

Bush has detroyed the americans reputation internationally.

The US once seen as a powerful country that defended the small and lived for peace, freedom and prosperity. Now its seen as a powerfull country that takes whatever it wants, when it wants it.

The US does not respect the UN, the OAS, did not respect Irak, etc. There is no one that can face against the US without great suffering and the US seems to take advantage of it.

But even so he got reelected. Does this mean that americans are bellicose? I keep hearing that "American people is one thing but american goverment is another!" or that "americans are very much against the goverment actions" Yet the people voted again for this goverment.

Can any one explain how come Bush was supported by american people after he had comitted one of the biggest attrocities in modern history with Irak?
