when is this guys term up. he has urinated on th constitution. laughed in the face of the American people and i believe the worst is still yet to come.

there is no question in my mind that he will engage us in another war before his term is up. we all suffer due to his elitist decision making no matter what the issue is. the new world order is upon us. can it be stopped.

He is bailing out the borrowers. And yes, I think it is insane since it will keep the artifically high home prices higher than they should be. Many of the home that would be foreclosed on without the bailout are second home or rental property. How does this help those of us who weren't trying to flip houses in the past couple of years? If anything it hurts us since it prevents the prices going back down to a reasonable level. And the saddest part is that now that those speculators screwed everything up with their zero down, sub-prime purchases, you need good credit and a sizable down payment if you want to buy something right now.

I have a lot of mixed feelings over this one. The lenders have really gotten good at trapping the unprepared. His intention isn't to protect the lenders as much as it is to protect the lendee. Many of the quick lending companies will go bankrupt as a result of this, and that part I really look forward to.

Sorry Hibernator it was not Jimmy Carter... Fool that was daddy Bush who bailed out Neil Bush with Silverado savings and loan and others to the tune of 600 plus billion.

When you're nine trillion dollars in debt what's a few more billion? Bush has bankrupted the country and done more harm than any foreign power could have.

Yes Bush didn't do it all by his self but you know he was the ring leader, And he had a lot of followers, you know money talks, and people walk.
So there is a lot of guilty people.
Go with your gut felling
