He makes a Billion, pays 17.5%, His secretary makes $60 grand,
she pays 33.5% of her income, all because of Bush's "fair" tax plan. Even some of the filthy rich can see this country is great because of the middle class. Why can't Bush and dumb head repucks think the rich should ATLEAST pay the same as the rest of us?

A news crew showed up and the "leaders" of the American Legion (at my post) talked as if they supported the Iraq war "But" after the news crew departed and everyone went inside and had a cold beer the leaders said "We really didn't mean to say we supported the war but if we told the truth the main headquarters at the Legion would be all over us and turn us inside out". so I ask...."How could the leaders (Officers) sell out like that? Are they afraid of the truth?

I am looking for the laws regarding transferal of a moving contract/job between one moving company and another moving company before pickup of furniture. any information on the acutal law (or where to find it), are needed.

allow me to give you an example:

1) i book a move with xyz moving, with a home office in ca. This company is licensed with a dot and a puc number. xyz moving does not have a broker's license.
2) xyz moving company transferrs the contract to pqr moving, also licensed but without the broker's license, with a home office in ca. I am not informed of the change beforehand, and discover said change when pqr moving arrives at my home.

I would really like to know if it is legal for a moving company to book a job with me, accept a depost, then transfer the job to another company to actually move me. and which specific laws (if any), must be followed if a transfer is legal.

you can e-mail me for more details!

Please answer
r.

Is it legal for a company to tow a car that is parked in their parking lot but is located in a public shopping center? I won't say any names but I used to work for a company that had their business located next to other shops. They told us in orientation that if a car without one of their stickers in the windshield is in their parking lot they would tow it. I thought that because it was in a public shopping center they couldn't do that. And they didn't mean if it was left there over night. They patrol the parking lot on an hourly basis checking windshields for stickers. It didn't affect me either way but I was curious of anyone knew the answer.

On a museum that will commemorate the sixties, including Woodstock, when the gov't throws away around $70 Billion a year in Iraq?

To me, a museum in New York state is worth a lot more than our ongoing, unending military conflict in Iraq. Even if it is a "hippie" museum. Woodstock was an important event, just like Plymouth Rock is important. It's a part of our history and we should remember it, regardless if you disagree with the politics of those that were there. The museum could be paid for by cutting a fraction of one contract in Iraq.

And in any case, private donations are providing the majority of funds for that museum anyway.

they need our help to help themselves. you have the power to help them but you let your anger get in the way. Such a waste, as my people are hard workers. THey can and could do more for this country if you let them.
