look at the arrest record and witness statements
make a motion for discovery to get all additional information
request an extension on the hearing
over
and over
and over
to make the recollections of the victim and the witnesses for the prosecution dimmer
attack the integrity of the arresting officer, the victim and any witnesses for the prosecution
try to plead the charges down to a lesser charge if it looks as though your client will be convicted
