Iam in a situation where i was working as a driver but in march of this year i got a d.u.i and iam suspended a whole year till i get my lic but if i dont return back to work with in a year ill loose my job now i was just wondering if i join the armed forces that my job will still be saved because i was putting myself in the call of dutie ..please let me know if that works because i wouldn't mind joining the armed forces for a experience and then be able to return to my job knowing i still have a place there since its hard to get a job now a days plus i would think the military would give me skill to surpass the job that iam suspended at since now iam going to school for computer science degree well please help and thanks for your time ...fully appreitated

I could not watch it. But following online an now news broadcasts. I found this quote particularly interesting. Because each statement about Iraq changes within her campaign . Bash Bush for being in Iraq, votes for use of force & Patriot Act? Now again, I will keep troops in. What kind of garbage are we expected to eat here? Perhaps the hope is each audience shall change as if no one will notice? She is no Bill that is for sure.

It's nice to have debates, but some of the accusations and outright lies are obviously meant to stir up discontent.

Is there any patriotism by Yahoo (as an American company) to squelch such obviously delusional statements or is it all about the mighty dollar?

i live in germany so i m not so familiar with us-pilotics. so if each state send 2 senators into senate, and some representatives into the house of representatives, who are this making the people living in washington d.c.? do they have senators to elect?
and is washington d.c. a state (like illinois), or not? do you have 50 states or 51 (with d.c.) included? or do you have 50 states plus washington d.c., as a "special state"?

I recently found out from my employer that all the sales staff on our team are to be terminated in 2 weeks, than offered new positions under a different award structure that eliminates a salary and is commission only ! So a month before Xmass I will have no income, as Real Estate is traditionally very slow over late December - mid January I don't see a rosy Xmass. After working long hours and generating a hundred qualified leads of people who will be selling in the near-mid term, with hundreds of thousands of $ in fees, eg average sale house is $2M and apartment sale about $550K AT 2% each sale I feel like telling this die hard Liberal spoilt Rich prck where to go along with the Liberal Party and take my contact list elsewhere and work to point him out of business ! Molly I can understand how you feel now !

So my 20 yr old brother was just walking at night when all the sudden cops are screaming at him to get on the floor while a cop puts his knee on his back. checks his backpack finds nothing but his breath smells like alcohol but not drunk at all, then keeps him all night & day long not telling him what he did wrong & the next day finally calls my mom & charges 500 dollars & yesterday sentenced him for 3 days in jail with no contact with us. doesn't this sound harsh!!!!!

England want's to stay apart from other European countries.
England say that EU is no good but they had a economical bost since join them.
England always point the bad things by Immigration , not the good ones.
England doesn't point the English people that goes to live in others countries, not a problem.

Do you agree that people who are against PC just don't ANY RESPONSIBLITY for saying OFFENSIVE things?

Political correctness also politically correct or PC is a term used to describe language, or behavior, which is claimed to be calculated to provide a minimum of offense, to the racial, cultural, or other identity groups.

When I hear how some people are against PC, I also noticed something else.

Some of these people....
believe they have the right to say "fa.g.got" w/out any reprimanding
believe they have the right to use the n-word w/out taking any RESPONSIBLITY
Believe they have the insult anyone without taking any RESPONSIBLITY....just casually saying whatever racist, sexist, homophobic thing and justifying it too.

The US has ignored the UN on so many major issues even going against a vote of 184 to 4.
Does the US have any right to be a member of the UN and does the UN have any power or right to expel the US.
It appears with the contempt the US shows to the UN that they beleive they are the UN. One couontry One vote and the US is that country.
How is the world to have any respect for either when neither of them listens to the rest of the world.

When I got my license when I turned 18, the lady asked if I wanted to register to vote. I said yes, but she said nothing else about it and didn't give me anything. How can I figure out if I'm registered? If I am registered and re-register, would that be bad? I live in Georgia, I don't know if that makes any difference.
