No way, your'e an adult and your parents no longer have control over you or your belongings that they may have given you before you were 18. I left my parents after I turned 18 and theyv'e tried saying I stole everything that I have( i.e. what I had before I turned 18) and they tried to file a missing person's report. All you have to do is call the police station and ask if a report has been filed and tell them your NOT missing. All they can do is tell your parents youv'e been found, and you don't have to talk to them.

If you're 18, you are an adult anywhere in the United States - even in Utah. No, you do not have to go back home. Technically, since you are legally an adult, you didn't even run away from home.

No, you don't have to go back home at 18 but at least call so your parents will know you're not dead and will not worry about you for years to come. No matter how bad your home life may be, you owe them that much.

You are of legal age in Utah. That doesn't mean your folks won't try to get you home. You be sure to take as much I.D. as you can to prove your age and protect yourself. Birth Cert. is wonderful. This situation may get dirty. Please be careful who you talk to and go places with.

I would say no.. I believe at 18 in any state of the US, you are emancipated automatically and can be on your own without interference from anyone..

Dude, your an adult. You don't "RUN AWAY" you get the f out of your parents house if you don't want to stay there. How did you not know this?
