Well, lactose intolerance often causes flatulence, and whenever he's around, it's always like someone has done the online equivalent of "cutting the cheese".:)

He sure has an axe to grind about Jimmy Carter. Does he blame him for not providing cheese? Maybe he fears peanut butter?
He seems in fear of Reagan - since he never mentions him as the founder of the government cheese program.
