YA is not representative of the "real world".

Do not confuse the "real world" with the polls and surveys published in the media.
Consider, the democrats ran on a platform of ending the war - they have not done that and most alarming is statements by the presidential democratic candidates that indicate they won't be withdrawing the troops in their first term - that's four years - if they are elected. Does this sound like a sound policy if there is such a small percentage of war supporters in the "real world?" If nothing else, George Bush has stayed resolute and determined in trying to keep you and your family safe and secure while doing his best to end the fanatical Islamic blood lust and terror. I suspect a great number of Americans can relate to the necessity of this policy of directly confronting this ideology - especially after the events of 9/11.

About 4 out of 10 support George Bush. They are probably just more vocal to stick up for him because they don't feel he is given a fair shot by the media.

I'm not a supporter of Bush. Some sites will always have majority and minority. Try youtube, I think it is majority against Bush.

Because (at least in my opinion) a person can find it easier to voice their opinions in type rather than with speech. Also, its far easier to just not "revisit" an answer page to see how many people gave you a "thumbs down" than to have someone arguing with you face-to-face.
