Why?, When someone says "illegal immigrant" you automatically think a Mexican person??

Mexicans arent the only illegal imagrants here in the U.S.
There are imagrants from Canada, Japan, Europe,ect......

BUT THINK>>>>> NOT EVERYONE WHO SPEAKS SPANISH IS MEXICAN!!!!!!!

All those people who think that are idiots. Ignorant people. We all know an illegal alien is ANYONE from any country who is here illegally. And they are even more stupid to think they are from Mexico only.

Statistics. The mode-average illegal immigrant is, in fact, Mexican. That is, more illegal immigrants come from Mexico than any other country.

That still more come from other spanish-speaking countries of Central and South America (and enter through Mexico) only furthers the aparent prevelence of 'Mexicans' among illegals.

But the truth is illegals, like legal immigrants, come from all over the world, just in very different proportions, since American immigration law seeks to allow everyone a chance (albeit, a very small chance) to come here, not just those who happen to share a border with us.

There has been alot of debate about Mexicans crossing the border and population the wester part of the US. Immigration laws and protests have been focused on Mexicans for quite some time now, so it is the first thing that comes to mind when someone says "illegal immigrant'

Probably because they are the majority of illegals in this country. Quite honestly, while I am aware of the fact that not all illegals are mexican,I have yet to see or hear of an illegal that isn't mexican.

Because they are by far the vast majority of illegal immigrants. Lets face it, many Mexicans come here illegally and then take advantage of our system. You cant ignore that facts just to be politically correct.

I don't. I know some illegal aliens and while they are all Hispanic, none of them are Mexican. I'm sure there are illegal aliens from other countries but I always think of the people I know first.

I dont think that. I personaly know many illigal immigrants form countries such as romania, panama, and puerto rico. They are all good hardworking poeple that speak good english, however they cant pay taxes which bothers them but they cant do anything about it for fear of being deported if they try to take steps toward citezenship. these people are my friends and nieghbors. I could not imagine america without them. There should be a way to get them right with the law but there is no good way to do it.

i know a few from south american places and latin america
i know a lot of asians, middle eastern, europeans, africans etc.

if somebody puts mexican with immigrants
