I commend all Americans who are trying to learn more about the candidates before the 2008 election. In my opinion, an uniformed voter is down right dangerous. I am supporting the Republican Ticket for their stance on Foreign Policy. I do not believe that the ticket will lead with Rudy, Mitt or Ron Paul and this is why….

Strike Rudy - He is responsible for nixing the Line Item Veto, pro-abortion, he spends to much! Check his record!

Strike Mitt - He is trying to sell us on the fact that he is Ronald Reagan's Clone which is so not-true. Blames his MA record on him having to work in a Liberal State, He is a FRAUD and McCain called him on it in the 10/21/07 debate!

Strike Ron Paul - He is not really a Republican, has no clue on foreign policy and is likely a racist. See the web-site below.

Hey, the government run New York City Off Track Betting is going bankrupt. How does an organization that makes it's money from accepting bets go broke? Casinos and racetracks make money, only a government run gambling organization could figure out a way to loose. That's who I want to be responsible for my health!

Social Security isn't bankrupt. When the time comes where there is no money left, all they have to do is raise taxes. They will have to raise taxes to cover Medicare, too. And regular income taxes will have to be raised to keep our Almighty Government operating. What about all the people who didn't save money for retirement? Raise taxes on those who did. Oh, what about the government employee retirement funds? Those have been spent. Raise taxes.
Eventually our tax rate will be about 125% of our income.

Hey, migz, your comments on Ron Paul are REALLY desparate. 15 year old comments that weren't even made by him, and others taken out of context shows how narrow minded you anti-Paul people really are.

We need more Ron Pauls.

If you folks want to see a DISASTER then let the Federal Government get their hands around health care. Need a look to see for yourself - then go to any VA hospital in the nation and take a long hard look. Is this what you want? And believe me, if you think health care is expensive now, wait until the bumblers in Washington start messing with it.

Whenever I think of ANY government agency...these things come to mind:

Indifferent bureaucrats who can't be fired no matter how slow or inefficiently they work.

Paperwork...redundant paperwork, sometimes in triplicate.

Long lines that don't move.

You all feeling me? Now, imagine being sick and dealing with all that?
