Why not torture our enemies when we want to? Other countires do. We might learn something valuable. Why should America not torture bad people who want to do us harm?

Also, why don't they know preemptive surrendering does not work when dealing with world threats?

Europeans learned that during Hitler's reign.

I am writing a paper for school and I am trying to find which state band the death penalty. Does anyone know where I can find information on this. I have been googling (well acutally using ask.com) but can't find it. I want to throw more resources into my paper than required cause I like this subject.

Thanks

A pitcher is on the baseball field and throws a ball towards a bantering fan behind a metal fence. There is a loose part in the fence and the ball goes through the fence and travels right by the fan. Does this action constitute as an assault or is it lacking "present ability?"
Sounds like a weird question but it was asked in my law class.

As you may have gathered from the title, I scored in the 82 percentile. I got a 118 on the GT portion of my ASVAB. My recruiter told me I could basically get any job, but I want infantry. Is there any chance of getting an Airborne Slot in my contract with a moral waiver. He says he is sure he can get me a slot. I don't think there is a chance in getting Ranger in my contract with a moral waiver, but is it possible? I was a minor, and its been a few years. I don't think Ranger is possible, but is Airborne with a moral waiver possible. Thanks and God Bless.

He's a republican and a baptist minister, and he far enough to the right for them overall, so why are they criticizing him rather than rallying around him?

The argument goes something like "Huckabee may have a conscience for helping the poor, but the real religous right doesnt like him because he's not consumed with contempt for gays,pro-choicers, and low taxes"

Kind of seems like Huckabee is not respected by what SHOULD be his base because he's too literal with his religous beliefs!

Okay, so today, my mom got a ticket for 'passing a red light'. Okay, my mom didn't cross a red light she crossed a yellow light and was stuck of the middle of the road when it turned red, so she went and there was another darn guy next to us who passed it but the cops still gave her a ticket. So my mom asked if she can pay a ticket (instead of going to damn court) but they said "NO! YOU HAVE TO GO TO COURT!" Can my mom not go to court and pay the ticket or is the not allowed?

it is AGAINST it. The rights of the killers are always in question. What about the rights of the old couple or young woman who was tied up, raped and murdered while their family members watched? These killers get 20 years of life after robbing somebody of theirs before they get a quick death. What if they were sentenced to die as their victims had? A guy down here where I live just got off on a technicality after cutting off his THREE BABIES HEADS. His wife helped and they were high but still you cannot reattach a baby's head and expect things to work again. HE DECAPITATED THEM - ALL THREE BABIES. The youngest was 4 months old so it couldn't fight back. Neither could the 14 month old and the 2 year old. What about their cruel and unusual punishment? What is your take on baby killers, mother rapists and old lady rapist/killers? Should the devil be given breakfast, lunch and dinner for the next 20 some years as payment for killing innocent people?

From what I've heard, it happening all over. France and Germany are having the same problem from what I've been told. Why is this happening? I have nothing agianst immigrants so long as their legal, but they don't seem to take an interest in assimilating into the culture of the country that's taking them in. They rather prefer to live in their own ethnic ghettos and live off the goverment at the expense of tax payers. They don't even try to learn the language of thier host country. Pluse most of them don't seem to understand the meaning of birth control as they breed like rabbits.

Also he can strengthen the worlds economy like he has done the U.S. I stand by my President and I think that he will go down in history as one of the best we have ever had. The way he shows compassion for the American people. The way he gave the average hard working american a tax rebate check. I feel safe now because I know President Bush will protect us. Thank you Mr. President

I collect quotations from military men, men who have been in battle. I am often intrigued by their determination and fortitude in times of war. Do you have any favorite quotations to share? Also...........have any of our military women ever been known to say something significant that went down in history???

When was the last time someone was beaten up or killed by someone who had had too many cigarettes? When was the last time someone was killed by someone driving who was over the nicotine limit? When was the last time a family broke up over someone's nictotine dependence?

Once you're done with smokers and the drinkers, who's next? The obese? The lazy? Those with special needs?

It would seem like Bush's policies may not be the best for America right now, but then again, it seems like his goal is to line the pockets of his corporate buddies, and to be elected twice with low popularity and maintain an unpopular war during the tenure of a democratic congress is no easy feat.

Recently I got a job offer from a college and once they got my background check completed, took the offer away due to an arrest--NOT a conviction (plus the charges were dismissed in court). Now I started a fabulous job which is a dream job and it is at another school setting up motivational speakers to visit high schools. I already started but they are conducting a background check and I am terrified history will repeat itself. Has anyone started a job, then got fired due to something in their background (arrest, conviction, etc.) What happened and what was it they fired you for that showed up on the background check? Thanks for you story.
One more question: Is there anything you did to save your job if you were about to lose it due to this??
