The candidates:

"Don't know Jack" Murtha: "Our troops overreacted because of the pressure on them and they killed innocent civilians in cold blood.”

Hanoi John Kerry: "You make an effort to be smart you can do well. If you don't, you get stuck in Iraq.”

Dingy Harry Reid: “That this war is lost, and that the surge is not accomplishing anything.”

Ted "the swmmer" Kenedy: "We now learn that Saddam's torture chambers reopened under new management, U.S. management"

Tricky Dick Durbin: “If I read this to you and didn't tell you it was an FBI agent describing what Americans had done to prisoners in their control, you would most certainly believe this must have happened by Nazis, Soviets in their gulags or some mad regime, Pol Pot or others that had no concern for human beings.”

B.Hussein Obama: "We’ve got to get the job done there, and that requires us to have enough troops that we are not just air raiding villages and killing civilians"

of steel, how would that affect the rest of the world economically? For example, would Walmarts go out of business or would they just move their vendors and contractors to Vietnam or Iraq, instead?

Is there any group or organization where a civilian or volunteer can help serve out the law? Per say you see kids robbing something, and by the time police showed up they would be long gone, and you are right there to do it. Is there any civilian sheriff program or something similar along those lines that you can take and get some certification to do so, when law isn't around? I'm not speaking of a vigilante, but having some certification to apprehend people of this nature and to call the police when you have them detained, and it being legal? And not even a job, but as a volunteer not wanting any funds.

I was drivign at 3am at night across a long desloate road and there is this town called taft in California, and i was driving up to the stop sign and stop about a car lengh behind the stop sign because there is a gas station on the corner i was debating weither to go get food or not, i sat for about 20 seconds and then deciced to not get anything and continued on my way, a cop pulled me over imeduatly and said i ran the stop sign and didnt listen to me that i stoped behind the line a little bit to see if the gas station was open. so tomarrow i have to go to court and plede guilty not guilty and the judge will give me a deal like half the price of the ticket if i plede guilty, but i didnt do it and if i choose to fight it i wont get the deal but i get a chance to prove i didnt do it, but in the end it will be my word vs. the cops...where is the justice in that? what should i do. i cant afford the ticket and i didnt do anything wrong. please give some advice.

Are there any websites that show a general timeline of when certain Army Units will be deployed, perhaps by state and location? A friend of mine's Sargeant has been telling them for 2 years it would be in the next 6 months.

i mean really apprecaite it. i truly feel the only way to really really understand freedom is to have it taken away for long periods of time. i dont feel the majority of people ever stop to think about how much freedom we enjoy, but you may feel different than me. id like to hear your opinions, if you think im right or if you think im way off...thanks.

I'm in the eight grade and I'm thirteen years old. I hate my algebra 1 teacher ALOT!!!! Shes evil err don't get me started point is I hate her and when I call some one sir or miss I do it out of respect for the person and respect is the farthest thing I have for her. Do I have to address her as Ms.Byerly or can I just call her by her first name. Are school is really strict and we have to wear uniforms but if I tell the principal I don't want to can he legally make me considering I don't really have any constitutional rights just child protective laws. But then again it is a public school and citizens are paying for it with taxes so we shouldn't be forced to call some one that when she doesn't call me Miss *don't give out last name on internet* she just calls me Lora why can't I just call her Christian?

For the sake of this question, lets avoid the negativity about which candidates you think are horrible/evil/etc.

And I would also like to focus on candidates who who have real plans to make a real difference for working class Americans. I would prefer to not discuss candidates who promote tax breaks for the rich because it will "trickle down" to everyone else. I think it's fair to say that trickle down economics works well in theory, but in practice the rich tend to just keep their money and don't do the reinvesting to make the trickle down work.

But we all have to pay our part right? Whether we agree with what it's being spent on or not. I mean I don't need the Police, but I have to pay taxes to support that wasteful program.

I'm wondering, if you knew someone was guilty of something and they got away with it... would you get them in trouble for something else that they didn't do? So they get the punishment they should have gotten before anyway, only for something different?

How long does it take to detect the U-238? And does the military test for it during their outgoing physicals? What about Soldiers from Afghanistan?

I have 2 sons that have returned from Iraq and a daughter leaving in a few weeks for Iraq and a daughter in Afhganistan.

If this shows up in their blood work, I want them to be sure it is documented so years down the line when the government decides it is a real disease, they are covered.
