A quick poll....

Hillary's campaign is convinced the at least 30 per cent of Republican women will vote for her if she is nominated for the simple reason that she is a woman.

So how about it, republican women, will you vote for Hillary simply because she is a woman?

I asked my wife, a very conservative Republican and she is still laughing.....

It didn't work for Geraldine Ferraro.

I am 29, married and have two children in elementary school. I have worked very hard, and done without "necessities" like a cell phone or cable, to make sure my children have health insurance. I pay money into a social security system and will never see a dime of that money, so I work an extra job to save for retirement. I have never felt entitled to anything and pride myself in doing right by my children. I'm not against helping those in need, but I don't think I should be forced to take on the financial shortcomings of the entire country's poor, lazy or illegal population.

It's been almost a year of me asking and answering question on Yahoo Answers.
I wonder what kind of people like to answer on the Immigration section because it's full of harsh, cruel, and hurtful answers.
I rarely hear and answer for the question, instead I see people making of the person asking for having whatever problem they have.
I've noticed on the Family section, people just say what's on their mind.
The Education, specially the Elementary section is where the people seem to want to help the people asking the questions.

But what is it about the Immigration section?? Why is it so full of haters?

Nuclear weapons will not go away, much to the chagrin of most people. They are the great equalizer and provide security for small countries against attack by a larger power.
Is it any wonder that countries like Iran are scrambling to develop nuclear weapons after the USA invaded Iraq. You counld bet you bottom dollar that the USA would have never invaded Iraq had the country had a nuclear shield.
If Iran gets nuclear weapons, the USA would be unable to invade Iran and remove its government. Is this the principal reason our government is fighting the Iranian nuclear program?
All bad regimes disappear over time. There is little need for the USA to have the ability to invade a country at will to remove a despot or an ideology we don't agree with.
Why the continued fuss over Iran's desire to develop nuclear weapons? There are alway enough nuclear weapons to kill the planet 10 times over. What does it matter if there's a few more?

I think we should do the following:

1) Knock out the power grid
2) Knock out bridges and main streets.
3) Then hit the nuclear sites that exist
4) Hit all government buildings
5) Hit universities where radical Islam is taught.

Just an idea...what do you think?

Okay, my husband is arguing with me about an incident that happened here with a judge. The judge wouldn't give an immigrant an order of protection or a divorce. My husband said that since they were married in Virginia (a commonwealth state) that their marriage is "only" binding in the commonwealth states. I just read about "commonwealth" (on the Kentucky website) and it states that "commonwealth" is the same thing as "state". So, my question is this: If you are married in Virginia, Kentucky, or any other commonwealth state does it mean you aren't legally married in other states? I think it doesn't matter what state you were married in, that you are married period. I believe I am 100% correct. I need some proof on paper to print out to take to my husband who thinks he knows so much about the law, he does know the law in certain areas, but not that. Any help with a website would be great! Thank you, to all, for any help!

In the event Hilary Clinton becomes President she will have achieved something very unique. First, she will go down in American history as the first woman President which for centuries had been dominated by men. Second, she will be the first American First Lady to become President. It would be interesting to watch how she would perform.

can't we settle this nuclear problem with Iran by allowing them to have defensive nuclear weapons provided they agree that the rest of the world has the right to incinerate their country if they ever used them aggressively? And, the security and accountability of the weapons must be internationally monitored.

By sending Zimabwean asylum seekers back to Malawi knowing these people will eventually end up back in Zimbabwe where they fled from and where they face certain death? This is just a loophole in visa laws exploited by Britain to reach targets for removal and is virtual murder. It was Britain was is not who colonised these parts of Africa and like everywhere they interfere with other honourable tribal peoples lives, death and suffering ensues?
