It's been almost a year of me asking and answering question on Yahoo Answers.
I wonder what kind of people like to answer on the Immigration section because it's full of harsh, cruel, and hurtful answers.
I rarely hear and answer for the question, instead I see people making of the person asking for having whatever problem they have.
I've noticed on the Family section, people just say what's on their mind.
The Education, specially the Elementary section is where the people seem to want to help the people asking the questions.

But what is it about the Immigration section?? Why is it so full of haters?

You are right a lot of haters on this section,I would not mind so much if they at least answered the question before their rant.

But what is it about the Immigration section??

Because it's a safe way for people to spew their hatred--who can argue with disliking "illegals"?
Since it's no longer socially correct to say these things about people of color in polite company, this is a safe way for people to vent their ugly little hearts.

It's a shame that the people that acutally have immigration QUESTIONS can hardly be heard above the ignorant chatter that passes for activity on this channel.

There are many LEGAL immigrants here with legitimate questions tha go unanswered because people who do not know what they are talking about like to make noise.

What sort of flavor do you think you yourself bring to it posting that is is full of 'haters'?

Illegal immigration is people coming and taking what isn't theirs at the expense of those who do belong here. Whatever you want to say about it, that is the entire crux of the problem. Doing that brings out much harder feelings than going to school. Unless you SAY in the education board that you are illegally here, people aren't going to even focus on the immigration issue, and won't suspect it.

Well, immigration is a hot button issue. And that causes strong reactions.

I always see people asking both sides whether or not they have lives because they are "always posting on YA" and how their questions and answers are "full of rage and hate", and blah blah.

Well, think about it. If they are that full of hate, but they are sitting at home all the time on the computer, isn't that kind of a good thing? At least they are at home and not out acting on their hatred.......

I agree. There are a lot of people on here that hate those that want our immigration laws enforced. But they never offer to help those wanting help with a legitimate immigration question on how to do things the LEGAL way. Instead, they wish to help those that break our laws coming here.

P.S. Under what ID have you been coming to for over a year to this site asking questions? It sure wasn't the ID you used to ask this question.

I agree with the above poster. You are obviously one of the "haters" you are complaining about. Your account got suspended and now you are complaining about it.

Current immigration in perspective:
Never Before Has Immigration from One Country Been so Massive

For those who argue that current immigration is nothing more than a continuation of our traditional admission of immigrants, the following will set the record straight. At no time in our history has there been an influx of illegal immigration like the country is experiencing today. The estimated 850,000 new illegal immigrant arrivals each year is about as large as the highest level of legal immigrant admissions in our history before the current mass immigration was unleashed by the 1965 Immigration Act, i.e., an average of 880,000 admissions per year from 1901-10. When illegal admissions are added to current legal admissions, today’s immigration level jumps to about 1,750,000 per year.1

Those who suggest that the current influx of Mexicans is simply a repetition of other surges in our history such as from the United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany or Italy should look at the facts. Mexican entries each year are running at about half a million per year (about 220,000 legal admissions and about 380,000 illegal entrants).2 A comparison of that wave of Mexican entries to the largest historical surges from European countries shows how the present influx is unlike any before it..
The Antiterrorism Act (AEDPA) and the Illegal Immigration Reform Act (IIRARA) adopted in 1996 some important measures designed to prevent international terrorist acts in the United States. Especially important was the expedited exclusion provision to assure that our asylum law is not available to would-be terrorists entering without documentation or false documentation, who in the past were able to use an asylum claim for automatic entry to the country with screening deferred indefinitely. Nevertheless, these measures are largely remedial rather than efforts to change the environment in which terrorism can thrive. A suicide bomber planning an attack in the New York subway is not going to be deterred by a more stringent penalty against terrorist acts.

The environment in which the threat of terrorism will continue to fester results from easy access into the United States for would-be terrorists, conditions in which it is easy to disappear into immigrant neighborhoods in city centers while being able to recruit local accomplices, and the availability of time and lack of physical constraints, even after detection, to prepare and execute an attack.

This terrorism environment is further complicated by overtaxing the Border Patrol with hundreds of thousands of illegal entries across our borders each year and the lack of any effective effort by INS inspectors to enforce the immigration law against additional tens of thousands of aliens who ignore the terms of their permission to visit our country as tourists, students, business travelers or some other status. It is compounded by the fact that the 1986 Immigration Reform and Control Act (IRCA) established only the shell of a program to deny work to illegal aliens. The intended structure, that would create an inhospitable climate for illegal aliens, has been prevented from ever taking full effect by the lack of a mandatory system of verifiable worker identification.

It not hate to want our laws enforced and if you were one who just lost their home in the Southern California wildfires, would you be pi**ed off if you just found out that the fire was started by an ILLEGAL ALIEN who tried to bash a border patrol agents head in with a rock and started the fire to cover his tracks????

This just came outr on FOX and CNN news on the Glenn Beck show and on FOX with On the record with Greta Von Sutern!

Americans are sick to death of being taken advantage of not only by illegal aliens but their government as well. If this bothers you so much why do you come here? Your Avatar says you came on here yesterday, so where does that year come from? We weren't born yesterday like you were.

Don't come here if you don't like what you see.

Some people come for information, some people come to ask questions, some people come to express opinions (which they are fully entitled to whether others agree with them or not). Some people come for entertainment.

If you don't think there is any of the above that meets your needs, you are welcome to not come here.

Being self righteous and judging is as much a form of hate as some of the behaviors you have called out.
