Does anyone have any information on this:
My wife filled out drawing entry form for a new SUV.
Some 1-800 number guy called me and told me that our entry form was chosen and to attend a 90 minute speel. After the speel, I would be given a scratch-ticket, which would reveal whether or not I won the SUV or another prize ( Cash prize, Flat Screen TV, or a Cruise) .
The guy on the phone kept asking me how much my income level was. He told me he needed to be sure we could afford the tax on the new SUV. Also, I had to pick a specific time to show up to the place where I had to listen to the speel. I was told not to bring anyone other than my wife, because of limited seating. I didn't bother going to the appointment, it sounded really shaddy to me. I didn't want to wind up being scammed..
SO WHAT DO SOME OF YOU KNOW ABOUT THIS?

Most of us complain that there is corruption is rampant in India. It is there in USA, Europe and most parts of the world.
I would like to know whether there is any country where there is no corruption at all. I doubt there can be one like that.

Most of us support our Troops.. Are we putting our support into action? Are you sending letters thanking them and boosting their morale?

Are you sending care packages?

Are you volunteering to put care packages together?

If you have been meaning to, but just haven't know where to go...these sites should help you.

when there is lots of oil and natural gas deposits over there that could be sold by the US Government, while we are there trying to get that country in order, but yet, this isn't being done, the entire war costs are being sucked out of the American People, when these taxdollars could go towards helping those less fortunate in our own country. President Bush continues to drain the government coffers with this war, why not utilize the vast amounts of oil deposits in Iraq to pay for this war, and when we do finally withdraw from Iraq, then turn the oil business back over to the people of Iraq to benefit from?

i think if our government were to start paying for the war using the oil and natural gas in Iraq, there wouldn't be so much political opposition to the war.

What is your opinion on this?

I was looking at the 08 polls at cnn.com and it puts Clinton at the top at nearly 46% and Ron Paul at only 1%. I did a lot of internet research on independent internet polls and they put Clinton at roughly 5% with Paul leading at 32%.
I realize that internet polls allow for all voters foreign and domestic but that can't account for the HUMONGOUS difference.
Are we being lied to? If so how far up does this lie go?

I was chatting around the other day, and I met someone online.
He only speaks Spanish. He tells me he's an illegal immigrant living in the USA living off from cutting people's grass.
I asked him how long was he lived in the USA, he tells me 3 years.
I was surprised he hadn't learned English yet, but I was even more surprised when he mentioned he lived near a library.
So I told him he should go there as much as he could, and read all of the English learning material such as tapes, books, and videos.

He tells me he's affraid of going there because they ask you for an ID.
I tell him they only do that when you want to borrow books from them.

Should illegal immigrants be encouraged to go to public libraries and make some good use of the material?

I'm republican I mean I think we need change sometimes in America but as of right now I can't complain. George W. Bush is a pretty good president, I just wish he wouldn't of sent our innocent troops to Iraq. That was a mistake but I think it's awesome that he cut taxes and he cares about the enviroment of America.

What message do those who give out the prize say about the "humanity" of the accomplishments of person receiving the prize? If there was such a thing as the total opposite of a nobel peace prize, like a "war" prize or "hateness and divisiveness" prize, what kind of people would the nobel people give that one too?
