It is not so much laughable as it is scary and horrifying to me. Her resume does not read as a President's should. No experience really. Her strongest position is that she is married to the Democratic God...Bill Clinton. Seems that Americans have forgotten the outrageous health care program she tried to pass, Whitewater in Arkansas, and the regulations on music. I am waiting for her to pull a Gore and claim she invented the internet or something. She has celebrity status by the media. That is her rise to fame. Unfortunately, it may not be only 15 minutes in the spotlight, but 4 years (or more). I thought I was going to vote for a Democrat this time, but not for Hellary. Anyone but her PLEASE!!!!

I'm not certain is as much a "laughable" issue as it is an astonishing issue. After all, she is a very controversial female figure who is know more for controversy than for unity.
I think the country is ready for a change. Be it Republican or Democrat, people are tired of the past 20 years of Bush/Clinton leadership. Clinton really doesn't have much more chance of winning in 2008, as Jeb Bush has a chance of winning in 2012.
History shows that people choose different personality types for legislative roles than for executive roles. Senators are seldom taken seriously for Presidential candidacy (Bush, Clinton, Bush, Reagan, Carter, Ford, Nixon.........nope, no Senators). People want a leader, a father figure, an ambassador, and a champion as the President. None of those adjectives seem to fit Mrs. Clinton.
History also shows that early poll leaders don't usually win the election. When people have to punch the ticket, they will probably do some soul searching and choose the best candidate, rather than the noisiest one. That's why there's a curtain in the polling booth.

There is so much ammunition that the GOP has been gathering against her since 1992. They could probably play a different clip every day of her spewing something ridiculous or hateful between the time of her getting the nod and the election. Besides, she has ticked off enough people and she generally doesn't have anyone "undecided". People either love her or hate her. None of the reps are going to vote for her, and enough of the dems have been ticked off that they won't vote for her either. She's not the, um, warmest of people.
Most people realize that bringing Hillary into the White House will not bring the 90s roaring back. It's a different world with different problems.

Hillary Clinton is viewed by many to win in the 2008 Presidential election because of the network of fundraisers she inherited from Bill Clinton.
VOTE for your choice as US President on my 360 degrees blog and know who will likely win.

Of all the women who have run in the primaries, Hillary has had the best chance of winning. She may be the first to make it to the general election.
But she won't win the general. There are too many things working against her. When the debates come, she will be confronted about too many things to be able to survive as someone attractive to voters.

As a democrat, I would say she is the most corrupt and untrustworthy of them all.
I would also say, that I believe she does not care as much about the country as she does about her own ambitions.
It is more political BS, that we have had for way too long.........can you remember the last really great president, who was a real leader? It is not easy.
I want change.

Mrs. Bill Clinton has wrapped herself up in her own lies. She's convinced herself of what she wants to do. The Media has sucked up to her. So they broadcast it as the truth. But the American People, know it's a joke!! Howdy, dear friend!!

Because, she doesn't have one original thought, and will just lean in whatever direction the poles push her in. She disgraces women by continually allowing herself to be degraded my her cheating husband, and i don't think she is in the least bit qualified to be president. Who would want to first women president to be someone like that?

I can no problem... I remember when Bill and Al were in office before W brought us global warming. 8 years of a strong economy. We were all energy independent. no war, everyone loved us in the world. We were safe and not under attack. Well accept for the USS Cole a few embassy's and the 93 Trade center bombings. But he did catch Bin Laden after that. Oh no wait he didn't. Anyway to answer your question Hillary I am sure got a lot of experience living with a president. They were very close accept for the time of the affair with the oral sex that wasn't sex. Anyway to answer the question I think if she could create jobs and lower taxes like she has in NY then she has my vote. Nope my bad again I think she didn't do that either.
OK OK the one great thing is she will be the FIRST woman president with no experience of running anything to be president and that is just very cool.
