Hi,
I am a New Zealand citizen and got married with an Indian girl last month. Now I moved in Australia because NZ citizen can work and live in Australia. I want to bring my wife in Australia with me. What visa I need to apply for? What status will she get? Work visa or PR?
If you have any experience in this matter pl reply.

The Bush administration and New York cut a deal Saturday to create a new generation of super-secure driver's licenses for U.S. citizens, but also allow illegal immigrants to get a version.

New York is the fourth state to reach such an agreement on federally approved secure licenses, after Arizona, Vermont and Washington. The issue is pressing for border states, where new and tighter rules are soon to go into effect for crossings.

The deal comes about one month after New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer announced a plan whereby illegal immigrants with a valid foreign passport could obtain a license.

Not too many people care when they kill a roach. Not too many people think past eww, or it's dead. Is a roach the same as the living cells inside this woman who may abort her growing baby? There are consequences for all actions that are beyond our control.Higher Insurance rates for some of us because of those who go uninsured. Higher retail prices due to those who steal. Legal immigrants put on a back burner due to illegal immigration. It isn't fair but it's life. If we halted Legal immigration for even 1 year while they sort this mess out and implement some better means to track illegal immigrants and visa overstayers. Also better border enforcement. I do think we could get a good handle on the situation thus ensuring we don't have a repeat situation. This year would also give them the time to figure out what should and could be done with the millions aready here. Also giving us a better estimate on how many visa's should be allowed in the future so it doesn't disrupt OUR workforce.

What do you think? Would it be a viable solution?

Most know Iraq was a mistake. Innocent people are dying, our brothers, sisters, husbands and wives are coming home in body bags. Kids and innocent Iraqis are in the crossfire. We spend billions in blood money, and cant take care of ourselves. Once looked up to now we are despised. Our healthcare is sickening in itself. Are you trying to change things? Do you care? Organize in schools, churches or any meeting places. Look up the facts and act. So my question is who really cares? And whos all talk.

For christs sake, what is with all the Anti American liberals whining over 4000 deaths of the US forces and using that to dishonor our country. I know every death is hard, but why are the liberals using that to try and make us loose the war. If for say we do pull out(retreat) then we will be dishonoring each of the soldiers lives that were lost fighting. What do you think that every soldier that died would want? for one, not to see the US defeated and running away because that would mean they would have fought and died for nothing.
And if in our near future if a war with china broke out and the liberals are still whining about 5 to 10 thousand deaths, the chinese will not care if 10 million of them die. honestly if the US continues to go on this route of being unwilling to continue a war over casualties then we can not be classified as a true world power. so what, we won WWI and WWII. that was years ago. whats the point of being proud if we loose every other war, its disgraceful.
