Huckabee!! He has been married to the same woman since he was 18, and she got cancer a year later and was told that she would never have children - if she lived. They have three children, she's healthy, and he beat borderline diabetes through a healthy lifestyle. He is against abortion and gay marriage, and believes that we should all re-read the constitution to remember what our rights are.
Btw, he is a former Baptist minister. I'm Catholic, but I still think that's a good thing.
P.S. No flip-flopping on his part either.

--edit-- Obv., for Christian voters morals are an issue. For those who don't hold it as an issue, Huckabee is also solid in the other political fields. Look him up.
BTW, Huckabee recently surpassed Romney in the national Republican polls.
Personally, I don't trust Romney - maybe his change is genuine, but I'm not willing to take a risk on that. One thing is certain, America needs an experienced, tough president who will turn her in the right direction - we can't afford to have it any other way! :)

--edit-- Oh yeah, and I like to think of it this way: Clinton (devil's candidate) came from Hope, Arkansas, and now Huckabee (God's candidate) brings hope from Hope Arkansas! ;);)

Hey, it is so difficult to be sure who the "most moral Presidential candidate" is... I try to truly listen to what they stand for and how they try and get their message across. I never considered myself a "party" person, but I can't see any way to vote Democratic this year due to the 'pro-choice' stuff and the gay rights stuff.
I think there are several who are actually "moral" and even following God's agenda in leadership for this nation.., but I still don't hear anyone demanding true morality from the voters or making an iron-clad statement regarding godly behaviors and commiting to it!
We now have a very moral president, yet some of his decisions regarding Israel make me cringe and I pray he awaken before doing things that upset God regarding Israel and we come under judgment!!
I have to continue to pray and ask the Holy Spirit to lead me clearly. I will decide by that method. I pray all of the people who claim to be Christian actually vote as God leads.., and that they ASK HIM!!

I am impressed by Mr. H's willingness to show his beliefs, In addressing the issues of his faith he has not wavered. However, I am concerned.... I (As a Citizen) have concerns as to his stance on "Of the People, By the People & for The People" .... As Govorner did he not ignore the people on his stance and covert operations against smoking??? .... That is (BTW) only a one sided view , I know.... I think that maybe, he was acting of the people, for the people and defineitely by the people (by the people simply means duly elected) Since non-smokers are the majority, he could have been acting for the people... Of the people is a given, ((HE IS A CITIZEN)))

Oh gosh, I almost think he's the guy.... but, although I hate to be geographically biggotress, I can't help but wonder how another Arkansan from the desperat town of Hope Arkansas could be running..... What's up with Hope Arkansas? ]

At this point I've not made my mind up as to the person I'll vote for but I'm still headed more toward Fred than anyone... Romney lost me on the last interview I saw him in and Mr. H is a distant contender.. But the New York Mob Boss is definetly out.....Unless it's him against Obama or Clinton, then I'll choose the least evil.....

A candidate who uses religion as his motivation to receive votes in an election will never get mine. I believe that in order to be elected I want to know what you will try to accomplish while in office. What will his foreign policy be like? What will his domestic policy be like? How does he stand on Government spending? What are his views on taxes? Where does he stand on pork barrel spending? What are his intentions for the United States for the next four years.

I do not want any person who puts religion first. Morality does not mean Christian. Morality means knowing right from wrong. Gay Marriage and abortion are not morality issues, they are political issues. These two items will never appear before congress because congress is to scared to be tied to any one issue.

I'm a Catholic. I'm also an American by birth. And I hold most dear the intent expressed in Article VI of our Constitution:
"but no Religious Test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any Office or public Trust under the United States".

simply by fact it quite is a "life or loss of life" difficulty. Morality can't be compartmentalized, which includes asserting "he's a great guy and he believes in abortion". One ought to besides say "Adolf Hitler became a great guy apart from commencing a international conflict and annihilating almost 6 million Jews". individuals look to desire their cake and consume it too. Abortion helps persons to maintain a extreme life type however the end result would be that such life will crash with the egocentric era spawning them. the arrival financial crunch will consume Social secure practices, crush the wellbeing gadget, and tension us to selection power components for a numbers-depleted inhabitants. "ethical management" has to return from each guy or woman American, no longer in basic terms from religious or political leaders. If we prefer to cut back our very own inhabitants for "convenience and private freedom" we've not anybody to blame yet ourselves for the subsequent evils. A "ethical" President could be maximum fresh...and necessary.

I don't know right now. Huckabee seems to have wisdom, but I don't know who I'll vote for. I'm actually leaning toward Romney because he seems moderate, and I think he's the most electable of the Republicans.

Huckabee is an ordained minister, that a tuff one to beat. My own choice was Newt, but he's not running. I like Romney's chances and hes also a religious person.
