I am very much anti Dem/Lib. But I am very concerned about the relaxed attitude that conservatives seem to take regarding Israel.

If you do not like my question you are 100% entitled to not respond and that is ok with me!
Do not assume because I see things differently that I do not take into account different views on the issue.

Ok children, time for a lesson in reasoning.
Mexico is allowing it's citizens to runamuck across the US border, and kill Americans, steal, deal drugs, whatever they want. Because people in or from Mexico come into the US and kill Americans, should be drop cluster bombs on Mexico City? According to some of your answers, we would be justified in doing that. That's disturbing to say the VERY LEAST.

Nobody is happy about anyone dropping bombs on children anywhere. It is informative to your question, however, that Hezbollah head Nasrallah has publicly acknowledged that it was his forces' kidnapping the Israeli soldiers INSIDE Israel that provoked the war.

Don't get me wrong, Israel doesn't have lilly-white hands. But it has never been Israeli policy to recruit young adults to commit suicide bombings.

What has been Israeli policy is to warn civilians where Hezbollah had taken positions in civilian neighborhoods that BOMBS iwould be dropped where Hezbollah launchers were located.

And while NO civilian casualties can be "justified", please note when considering your anger that Hezbollah sent rockets into civilian areas that contained NO military targets. (example:civilians in the town of Tzfat (aka safed) received more than 700 such rockets over a 31-day period.

What makes me angry are the facts that the UN ceasefire terms have not been implemented: (1) Hezbollah was not disarmed; (2) The Lebanese government is still not in control of certain border areas of their territory leaving Syrian-controlled Hezbollah re-arming; and (3) the promised return / exchange of the kidnapped Israelis for Hezbollah fighters has not occurred.

Yes, there's plenty of room to be angry. But I respectfully suggest that "anger" is an emotion; that reason be based upon facts; and that our civil discussion be extended so people on both sides oif the border can live in security.

You do realize that terrorists were hiding among the homes of the Lebanese, don't you? This is a problem for the country of Lebanon, why don't they toss the terrorists out of their country? Don't they care about their people? Is Israel just supposed to let the terrorists lob bombs from Lebanon into their country, killing their people & do nothing? They have told Lebanon time & again to stop the terrorists or they would have to pay the consequences, they chose to let their people be harmed so that people like you could be all up in arms over what Israel did in self defense. Let Lebanon protect their people by getting rid of the terrorists & Israel will not bomb there anymore.

No--I realize it was a mistake. Hamas rockets are aimed indiscriminately, but we hear nothing. When Israel gives up land for peace, it gets neither, its security is compromised, attacks continue, Israel retaliates, then these rantings surface again. [Israel's neighbors allow & encourage the groups that attack Israel, so we're not thrown off by the "I didn't do it" semantics]. Anti-Israel? It's OK--You're entitled to your point of view.

Israel doesn't try to kill innocent civilians and is not happy when innocent people on either side get killed. But what are they supposed to do when terrorists are attacking them? These Arab terrorists generally don't set themselves up in military camps away from the general population, they hide amongst their own people. It is unfortunate that some innocent people get killed, but Israel has no choice if they want to protect innocent Israelis from the Arab terrorists. I realize that the Arab children are completely innocent, but if their parents were so innocent they would be rising up against the terrorists and driving them out of their communities, not supporting them.

The media tends to blow this way out of proportion, focusing on some innocent Arab children that get killed while ignoring the many more innocent Israeli children (and adults) that are killed by Arab terrorists. And unlike the Arab terrorists, Israel isn't killing innocent people intentionally.

I'm not happy with anyone dropping bombs on any children, but when people say things like this...it makes it sound like they purposely hunted down large groups of children and purposely bombed them. JUST them.
